It reminds me of an old Jimmy Durante (I believe) bit in which he slowly sweeps up the follow spot that's on him, until the stage is dark.

Hi, Peter,

I believe that was Emmett Kelly, Sr. He'd sweep up a spot of light and eventually put it in his pocket. I remember seeing him do this on the Carol Burnett Show decades ago.

Cheers,
TCR

You are correct...it was, indeed, Emmett Kelly. Carol Burnett also did it as the "janitor" character at the end of her show.

Here is the routine I will be doing with the D'Lites next week:

I will enter talking about each of us being able to be light to those around us. No matter who we are, or where we are in life...we can be light. Even though this world is full of darkness, when there is light...even a little bit...darkness ceases to exist. Cue music.

I then will move into the production of lights, tossing back and forth (the typical D'Lite routine). After doing this (all choreographed to music), I will drop the lights, one by one, into a paper bag (The Bag-O-Lites). I will blow them out...suddenly get sad, and begin to look for more light. At the climax of the music, I will produce red throw coils from both hands to end the effect.

Any thoughts?

So D'Lite Junior is for magicians with small hands. Define "small"?

I have no idea if the regular size will be too big or fit me well. Any idea?
