Sadly, many years ago I stopped practicing magic (business matters), and I have forgotten much of what I mastered over a decade ago.

The thing is, I am going to participate as a master of ceremonies in a corporate event where they will give a deck of cards to all the participants.

I am looking for effects that can be done in the hands of the participants (where they themselves, following my instructions, see the effect happen with their deck).

Could you please indicate to me which books or videos I could find some ideas in?

Thank you!

Two effects come to mind:
- lazy man card trick, Harry Lorayne has a nice version of it
- oil and water in the spectator hands, by Dani Daortiz

Thank you for the suggestions!

I am looking for effects that won't require any setup and that can be done just by following my instructions (as I will be on stage and people in the audience will have the decks of cards in their hands)

Yes. Thank you! I am thinking about presentation ideas for this. I read in the thread you shared the Blackjack concept. I am trying to come up with something related to Marketing and sales (the theme of the convention)

It would also be possible to teach the spectators a card trick, for example:
1) Hold deck of cards face down, pick up about a third of the cards and place them face up on the pack, turn over about two-thirds of the cards and place them on the pack, now you can name the value of the first card lying face down (the previously top card)
2) Show the seven of diamonds and eight of hearts at the beginning, put them in the middle of the pack, throw the deck of cards into the other hand, suddenly you seem to have the two cards back in your hand (in reality the seven of hearts and the eight of diamonds that were previously at the bottom and top)
3) If tables are available: Place the four Jacks face up next to each other, followed by the four Queens, the four Kings and the four Aces. Turn the four stacks over and place them on top of each other. Give the pile a cut often. Now deal the cards face down into four piles. At the end, the four jacks are automatically in one pile, the four queens in one, the four kings in one and the four aces in one.
Good luck!

I remember one that Nate Kranzo performed on Chinese television. A card was selected by a spectator. Next, the audience was told to grab the deck under their seat. Each audience member took out their deck and the selection was reversed in every deck.
