I don't know what the correct name for the trick is. It shows a grid (4x5 or 5x5). Spectator points to any square and moves either left or right until they come to a blank or different colored square. Then the move up or down until the get to a certain color...etc.
I think there are four moves: up/down, left/right, up/down, left/right.
But they always end up on the forced square.
Any idea what this is called and where to find it?

This sounds like Hex Squared. The ultimate resource on this topological force is Karl Fulves 118 page book, Hex Squared, (no place: self-published, 2001). He explains a dozen presentations and variations.

You'll find the simple version in Karl Fulves, More Self-Working Card Tricks, (New York: Dover Publications, Inc., 1984), pp. 96-99.
