Just saw The Magician with Dan White last night here in NYC. Very entertaining show. Does anyone know the name of the effect that Dan White does in his show The Magician in NYC where the audience are all given 4 playing cards upon entering. At one point everyone is asked to take the cards, and tear them in half. Then, you exchange halves with the person next to you. You are also asked to select any half card and sit on it. Then there is shuffling, cutting, elimination until the one torn half cards left matches the torn half card you are sitting on. Anyone know this effect and what it is called?

It's called the Love Ritual by Woody Aragon. It's in his book "Book of English". It's also a download on Penguin. https://www.penguinmagic.com/p/13456

Your Other Half--Woody Aragon may be the one he did. He also called it the Love Ritual I believe also.
