Hello, I want to know who was the first Cylinder and coins set in the market. I know that Harry Stanley tried to make a set around 50's. He asked John Ramsay for the Booklet rights and before he could start Ramsay pass away.
Does anyone know who started selling Cylinder and coins sets? |

? I heard Davenports sold the cylinder and lid way back then. Red cardboard?
Joe Porper sold a complete setup for the routine about twenty years ago using a penny instead of a cork sliver or die. You can find mention of the routine in the Charles Bertram book and compare that to what Ramsay was doing. Given the relative ease of the coins through table or the Leipzig trick using a cone it’s understandable that the trick languished till Connover, Carney, and Roth took it up and showed it at conventions.
...to all the coins I've dropped here
