I always loved the idea of the flexible mirror trick, but I always thought it was lacking.
First, why doesn't it look like what mirrors actually look like?
Second, why show that it can do the very thing that makes the trick work?
Third, why slack on the flexible part? That's the best part.

Fix those problems, and you get this...

Oh crap. That's really, really good. If you're considering releasing this, please let me know.

I am always inspired by magic with mirrors. Especially philosophy-wise. I don't know much about penetrations, but this really seems impossible.

In terms of performance and premise one might justify covering the mirror with a cloth by acting a story.
Being frightened by your mirror image and not wanting to see yourself anymore. But then a force pushes through and pulls you back in the mirror to make you whole again.
Stabbing the mirror to "kill" the persona in the mirror.

Excuse my rambling.
Sincerely,

the mind of a hypocritical paradox,
portraying the art of serious mischief.

Hardly rambling, those are great ideas. I hope you're frequenting The spooky, the mysterious...the bizarre! section of The Cafe. We like this line of thinking.

Thanks.
I have been strolling around that section once or twice. I might have a more thorough look around next time.

Please do. Bizarre Magic's soul is storytelling, so you'd be right at home.
