This may seem strange, but I would like to support Vanishing Inc. For my it's one of the best Magic Retailers.
I guess that's the ugly side of capitalism at the same time. Which master classes if you can not buy all of them? |

Ultimately it's less about which ones we'd buy and which ones speak to you. I haven't seen any that weren't good, these are all very highly regarded magicians. Pick one with someone whose work you enjoy, or material you'd like to learn more of.
Since you're in the coin section, I can mention Eric Jones and Kainoa Harbottle, but only because those two jumped out from a quick skim. Unless you can say more about what you want, it's really hard to give you more specifics. |

I've bought a few downloads to support them with the fire. They then announced a sale with discount code: FIRESALE
Don't mind that I missed out on slight discount as wanted to support, but might get a few more. I got the Eric Jones at the table talk. Cheap purchase, but got several nice routines in and tips I can use on others. I enjoyed the Pete McCabe scripting masterclass. Will help whatever area of magic you're interested in. Been tempted to subscribe for the unlimited access to masterclasses, but my internet is a bit useless currently with work being done locally so may wait until that's finished. |

If they are discounting all of their downloads, it might be an opportunity to purchase the set of the New York Coin Magic Seminar (16 volumes with more coin magic than has been put out anywhere else). Downloads of the set (available as a set or as separate volume downloads) are only carried by vamishinginc at this time.

Right, that was too unspecific. Of course, Eric Jones and Kainoa Harbottle are the focus of particular attention.
I have the first three parts of Metal, is the Eric Jones Masterclass still worthwhile? Because of my Reelmagic subscription and some of Kainoa on Coins DVD's, so I have seen a few of his work. The content of his masterclass is very general. No idea what's in there. I was also thinking of Homer Liwag. But I'm not sure if that's a step too far (as a beginning intermediate) and how much use I can get from it at this point. Or Hand Choreography by Matthieu Hamaissi. Probably also more advanced and with subtitles... I have problems with this combination, but looks interesting. Does anyone know this project? What are your favorites? Maybe just a routine that you particularly like and that I may never have noticed. Maybe something outside the box that you don't think of at first. Like the reference to the Pete McCabe Masterclass. Thanks for that one. |

I was eyeing up your encyclopedia of coin sleights set Micheal, but the New York seminars would be nice too. A lot of the Vanishing Inc. downloads give you the original chapters if you're streaming them. So you can work out the time if you're after a particular section. But if you download them you get them as one file.

They are a gold mine of information! I didn't realize they also had the downloads of the Encyclopedia of Coin Sleights. Well, that is a great set, wish more people knew about it (it was filmed in the 80s, but so much topical information contained within including unpublished material). Unfortunately people always look for the next best thing, and the classics move to the back. If you get it, let me know what you think!

At workers, back to workers... more, much more, ect. it's hard to keep track. At the end I'm kind of lost. It's realy a lot! Got also the Encyclopedia DVD's second hand. |

I had already purchased a few of the masterclasses individually - right now they are streaming all of them if you subscribe so I've been checking several out.
I think that Vanishing Inc. needs to give a little more structure to the presenters to be certain the value is there - I don't want to pay $75 to hear someone's thoughts on magic without learning some tricks and routines. Being able to stream them all has reassured me that if the description sounds like it's just theory and no tricks... it pretty much is and is not worth $75 - in my opinion of course. |

The production quality of the Homer Liwag masterclass is very high. And learning coin one and coin two was great, plus flash rice. All winners for me.
I found Rune Klan spoke to me very deeply. His passion and creativity was amazing, even if there was not a lot (or any?) coin work on it. Finally the Kainoa masterclass was great. Good thought and insight and some good instruction as well. Those are probably my favourites so far. |
