I just got this a few days ago and it's really good. Tommy does credit Billy McCombs and explains how Billy was his inspiration when he created this handling. I think Tommy's updated handling for this routine is phenomenal! You never have to go to your pocket once you start the routine and there is only one gimmick in play. All the moves look so fair, I think very natural, and are not hard to accomplish. Actually the moves are pretty easy. You get the gimmick, a 40 page colored book explaining everything in detail along with a junk drive with the PDF of the booklet, a video explanation of the routine, and a live performance by Tommy during one of his shows.
No, there is not a demo video for Tommy's new release and I don't think there should be. I am super happy I purchased it and also am glad it's not super cheap.

The idea of using a single gimmick for "the half dyed hank" (ala Billy McComb) is a rather old one. While I'm not familiar with Tommy James' innovations to the plot, I showed it to Billy over 40 years ago at the Magic Castle. To me, it just seemed like a logical idea ... and I'm glad it is getting some new life these many years later! Best wishes to all!

Finally performed this at a show and it was very well received. The moves in the routine are so very well justified which makes this so magical in the audiences eyes. A fantastic version!
