Does anyone know a good quality Dime and Penny gimmick? I'm mainly looking for just the penny on one side and dime on the other. Don't really care about the shell. Thanks.

See if you can find a Johnson Dime and Penny. They made them very well.

Roy Kueppers makes a dime and penny where the penny still has a rim. It makes it look far less gimmicked. I am not sure if it will fit a penny shell, however. It is also the preferred coin for the "Coin on Call" by Aljaz Son.
https://roykueppers.com/product/copper-silver/ It is the US Penny/ US Dime option. |

I was going to reference Coin on Call as well, if the insert is the only part that's needed. https://www.penguinmagic.com/p/5991

My dime and penny doesn't hold anymore. Looking to get another but wanted a "good" one. Which brands are the best?

It is really hit and miss anymore when it comes to finding a good dime and penny. Johnson Coins made the best I have seen, but since they no longer manufacture coins, it is hard to find one. Roy Kueppers is also hit and miss.

As it happens, the OP was really looking for a Dime/Penny C/S rather than the traditional "Dime and Penny" which is really a Dime+Penny S&S.
I agree the latter is very hit and miss at that size. I honestly don't see much use to using those coins for it these days. |
