Buy Light and Heavy Pen by Wayne Fox. It is exactly what you requested, a heavy sharpie.

You can pull the tip and top plastic part out with pliers, then add something heavy like sand. You can cut the felt marker stick out if you need more space.

Sharpies come apart fairly easily. There is plenty of space behind the ink cartridge. pour in some steel BBs and a few drops of super glue (to keep them from rattling) and you'll have a weighted Sharpie that will also stick to a magnetic AND will still write. Pliers, patience, and persistence gets it done.
