I was listening to a recent episode of the Penguin Podcast and Erik T and Nick L were answering a question about stage fright. Erik mentioned that he had learned tapping from his therapist to deal with his anxiety in regards to performing in front other magicians. Tapping is a tool which is very effective in down regulating the system (especially stress).
I have been using the tool professionally for over 15 years and so I reach out to Erik to see if he would be willing to talk about his FISM experience and how tapping helped. I thought is was instructive to hear from someone who has performed in every setting imaginable in the last two decades and for him to share the places that still impacted him. It was very kind of him to be so honest. He joined me for a interview "and now you can join the conversations" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R5PitjPDY2c Gene |
