I'm glad you gave the e6000 more research. I was afraid you were just going to leave it at "it's too runny"... but I didn't really have enough time or energy to talk about "set times" and whatnot.

I've love hearing as much info on types of glue as possible, so this entire thread has been a real pleasure for me.

Yes, I know it sounds like I've spent a little too much time around an open tube of airplane glue. So be it...

I have become a fan of "Oily Glue." It is a replacement for super glue (but does NOT stick to your skin and fingers.) Look it up on Amazon and give it a try. You only have to hold the pieces tight together for 30 seconds and the bond is secure. Glues an amazing number of different materials.

Man, hot glue must have improved a lot since I last used it. I'll have to look into it again. Thanks!

> Maybe try some Blufix sold via Amazon?

I'm glad it's available on Amazon.com, but I'm not in the USA, and it's not available to me via Amazon.ca. I remember hearing Mike Close at a lecture after he moved to Canada confessing that he (and other Americans) utterly failed to appreciate how hard some things are to get in Canada. After so many years not being heard, I finally felt heard.

Man, I remember when I was a boy and I used to be able to buy airplane glue for my models... and while I was still a boy, I had to have my grandfather accompany me to the nearest drugstore to assure the clerk that this 9-year-old wasn't into solvents recreationally..

I looked it up on Amazon.ca; not available here. Thanks anyway. I'm sure some American reading this thread in the future will be grateful for your suggestion.

I really appreciate you letting me know! I confess that I used to be good at finding stuff on Amazon, but their search in recent months defeats me.
