Owen Magic Supreme used to sell single rings, does anyone know who else might? I just need a nice 10" ring to use as a hoop for Raymond Crowe's 'Naked Zombie' routine.

Would a craft ring work? https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0D635LZGZ/ref......F8&psc=1

That link is for a 6-pack, but you can buy them individually from craft stores
such as Michaels for a few dollars.

Fedora, I actually bought one of those at Michael's this weekend. It's fine for practicing, but I'd like something a little nicer looking (like a quality linking ring) for an actual performance.

Cliff Wiggs of Proline makes very nice individual rings, polished alloy. Problem is that his delivery times are very variable. The thicker gauge and lighter weight might be an advantage in handling a hoop.

TCC are gearing up to produce a new set of rings, which has the option of custom sets and individual rings

And by variable delivery times you mean never delivering. I've been waiting two years and every time I email him, he tells me that he'll "ship them out by the end of the week".
John knows!

Chris, thanks for the tip regarding TCC. I just ordered a single ring from them…

Well, I received my single TCC ring and it's beautiful, but...it must be made out of aluminum because it's not attracted to a magnet (which is necessary for the Raymond Crowe routine). It's my own fault, I should have asked TCC what it was made out of before I ordered it, but now I'm back to square one looking for a 10" steel ring if anyone has any ideas...

I would look for an inexpensive set of linking rings just to get a usable single.

Right now on eBay this set of 4 Chinese rings are listed for $12 ('Buy It Now' price or 'Make an Offer') - https://www.ebay.com/itm/386878539428
The say Stainless Steel , which should attract a magnet. 11.2" diameter. Double-check with the seller to make sure these will attract a magnet.

Not too long ago I picked up a set of 10" Bumpers/Suds rings for $20 on eBay. Those kind of bargains are out there if you're able to wait and watch. If you got a full set of rings you would have the single for the Raymond Crowe floating ball routine and also a decent set of linking rings (Bumper/Suds made good rings, not in the same league as the high-end rings like Owens or Proline, but they are good , working rings)

Magic Land in Tokyo sells single 11.8" diameter rings for 5,170 yen = $37.50 U.S. dollar. https://www.magicland.jp/shop/product/stage/linkingring/
They say "hollow steel" so should attract a magnet ,but as always, double-check.

I'm sorry I realized I should have written : "They say Stainless Steel, which may attract a magnet". I've had various objects designated as "stainless steel" some of which will attract a magnet , others do not. Some people use the words "stainless steel" carelessly. So these rings may be true stainless or they may be plated metal. Hopefully the seller will test it for you to determine whether the rings they are selling will attract a magnet.

Grand Brass Lamp Parts customer service confirmed to me by email that this 10-inch diameter ring is magnetic. Thickness is 1/4" , so similar to many linking rings.

That second ring looks perfect, thanks David. BTW, David was kind enough to send me the link above via private message, which was very helpful since the "Subscribe" button here quit working for me years ago (so who knows when I would have remembered to come back and check this thread). Thanks again to everyone's helpful advice in this thread...

I haven't handled one, but I expect they do have a seam or weld mark. It doesn't look glaringly obvious in the photo so I doubt it would be visible from stage distance. They only cost $3.10 for a 10" ring. https://grandbrass.com/10-inch-diameter-......-nickel/
I ordered one out of curiosity.

I'm sorry to report that the ring from Grand Brass Lamp Co. is NOT 1/4" thick as described, but only 1/8" thick (so basically the same as a thin metal craft ring you can pick up at Michael's or Hobby Lobby.

11 inch Diameter Steel Wire Bottom Ring .
https://grandbrass.com/11-inch-diameter-......-nickel/

On their website this ring is described as "Approximately 1/4 in Material Thickness".  And the photo shown on their website looks like it is 1/4" stock. But the actual ring I received is only 1/8" thick.  That is not even close to "approximately 1/4" thickness".  It is, in fact,  precisely 1/8" thick, which is half the thickness of 1/4".

I have email the company to ask if there was a mix-up on the order and I received a 1/8" thick ring, but there is actually a 1/4" in. thick ring available ?  Or is the product inaccurately described on the website ?  If find out anything else I'll post it here.

Photos show the ring I received (which is 1/8" thickness) compared to another ring I have which is 1/4" thickness.
