If you don't have one (or few like myself), get one while you can. These will sell out and will be out of stock for a while. This is a great prop that can be used in a ton of routines (Mike Bent's Snakeless Can & Practical Magic's Cakes and Adders comes to mind).

Really well made (like all Wolf Pops), and very versatile. Guaranteed reaction!

No good - if you are in the UK

They cost $55

Fine.

The postage is $75..... what?

And then you get hit for duty and VAT on top.

So they work out almost $200 - for a $55 trick... that in the USA is $55 delivered.

I did contact them some time ago. They offered to reduce the postage to $35... but with no insurance. So if it goes missing, it's the buyer that is out. Crazy.

So - this makes it impossible to buy them.

Now - that's not to say they are doing anything wrong. It's just the cost to post to UK [from USA] is really high - and makes this type of prouduct [price/weight] an untenable purchase.

IMHO

So I got a 2.5 metre snake [in a can] from elsewhere

This same item, a locking lid inside the can to hold the snake was $25.00 and it included 2 standard spring snakes. I guess I am having trouble seeing how ane 40 in snake for the same gimmicked can should cost $55.

Yes, international shipping has become outrageously high. It goes both ways. I had an item I wanted to purchase on eBay recently. Item was being sold by someone in the U.K. The cost of the item would have been $20.00 U.S. Dollars , but the postage was $48.00. That makes no sense at all to me that the postage is more than the cost of the item being purchased. Fortunately I found the same item being sold from a U.S. location. $25.00 plus $8.00 flat rate USPS priority post shipping.

Where did you find a similar item for $25?

If you saw the work that goes into Wolf’s version, you may have a different opinion. These are built like a tank ( the inner gimmicks that contain the snake till you want it released)

Well I just did a search and cannot find it being sold anymore. I am glad I bought one when they were available. Mine can works flawlessly but having a few Wolf's products I agree that his version is probably built like a tank. Wolf's always has top quality products.

I got mine a few days ago. It went directly into my show. I am happy.

It's a great prop and very well made. Only issue I've had is audience management when that snake come out of the can. As much as I like to have it shoot out towards the audience, keeping the snake out of the kids hands is key.

Have fun KC!

I accept the kids will go crazy every time a spring snake appears. BTW, mine holds 5 snakes, two in the gimmick and three shorter ones on top of the gimmick.
