The season is upon us. Who is doing Tarot, who is doing Palms and who is doing both or something else?

Tarot is not something to decide to do and not give it all you’ve got. It’s a lot of learning first then a lot of live reading. A real dedicated art. I’ve started the journey a number of times but my add sent me on other journeys.
There’s always something new around the corner. I do think though that palm reading is less time consuming than tarot to learn as no matter where you are and what you are carrying or not carrying there are always palms to practice on. And you can always easily add a peek wallet thing as well. |

I already have two Halloween palm reading gigs. I also do runes and bone casting but not for parties, I can't do them in a short enough time window. But Palm reading I have been doing for 30 years, and I can do a 7 minute reading like water.

I do both regularly. They are my "classic oracle" of choice (when I want to display a well known oracle): Tarot if I have my cards, palm otherwise.

Hi Slim. Adding the Pendulum for their "known only to them" question sounds like a possible fun addition.
Just keep in mind you might have to teach your sitter how to get the Pendulum to speak to them and that will add to your time spent with each person. |

It will be his job to educate the sitters on the use of the pendulum while I do readings. OR... I'll do a group training every 5 people or so depending on the line. Has anyone ever had people take numbers and return at a certain time? Like a virtual Q or something like that? Appointments made on the cell phone??? The sitters are contacted by one of the Hotels I work at over their text messages. I wonder if they could make an appointment that way also? How effective would that be I wonder. The Hotel pays my fee so being a no show might be a problem or simple punctuality failures could throw the readings out of kilter time wise... Thoughts? ![]()

IMHO Miss Cleo had the most practical Tarot. Egyptian and very affordable. You can still find her teaching on Youtube last I looked. I played Seattles New Wave, Punk, Pop, venues and Miss Cleo's set of friends frequented our bars and nightclubs. I'm not sure I actually met her but I'd like to think I did as some of her friends wrote articles about our band and we partied with virtually all of them. I think she was around when we played with Johnny Thunders and Joan Jett's first tour. Great Memories for an old man these days. The financial operations of the company she worked for had defrauded listeners of a lot of money charging them for more time than they actually used. Her company had grossed over $950,000,000.00 and the government fine was about half a Billion or so. They lost half but continued on. Miss Cleo, using her mothers character and faulty accent, eventually moved down here to Florida. I tried to reach out to her but Cancer beat me to it and a lot of the story was lost. This is a good Tarot for beginners. Here she is... These Tarot fluctuate in price... I use them in my HooDoo Boxes for Radio and Podcast promotions. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s0LjaMRYRNg&t=222s

Recently, the Lifetime channel ran two films about the documentary "Call Me Miss Cleo" and the biopic "Miss Cleo: Her Rise and Fall." Yeah, I know; a biopic from Lifetime is like a UFO film on the History Channel, but there is probably a good bit of truth behind the telling.
https://play.mylifetime.com/movies/miss-......and-fall I recommend both. They portray her as someone who genuinely wanted to help her clients, who became an accomplice/dupe to the persons who actually controlled the telemarketing company. They were interesting and changed my view of her — especially her life after the chaos and destruction of the lawsuit. She was a powerful force and, in her later years, used her strengths for various good causes, including fighting for LGBTQ rights. It is a shame she was taken so young. A personal telling of her story would have been amazing. |

I do readings year-round, but this time of year readings always have a special vibe!
Here are some of the reading tools I use regularly at parties for quick entertaining readings. - Lenormand. I like it because it’s different than the very popular Tarot. Many cool decks available. - Tarot. I have a few decks I love, some gaffed, some normal. I love the new The Rider-Marseille Tarot Deck I got from Artisan Tarot. - Astragalomancy which has been a go to for decades. https://www.lybrary.com/astragalomancy-p-5730.html - Miss Taylor’s Fortune Telling Postcard. https://dualbraingames.com/products/miss-taylor - The Mystical Cartomancy Chart. https://www.lybrary.com/the-mystical-car......087.html - The Seance Oracle - https://www.theseanceparty.com/seanceoracle - TC Tahoe’s Knowing Cloth. Love it! https://www.tctahoe.com/the-knowing-cloth.html Though I know Palmistry it’s something I rarely do. Not sure why.

Hi, Slim !
Since 2016, I have make readings almost daily. Palmistry, Dadomancy, Tarot, Normal Decks, Runes, Astrology, Gypsy Deck, African Oracles and more some that I developed myself. I know that decks and other props sometimes increase the impact of readings, but I don't even need these artifacts anymore. I developed a formula to make even invisible tarot, using cards mentally without the person even knowing. Of course, I belieave that other friends here make this too. In fact, I don't know how to make "classic magic" anymore. From manipulation, as we all started, I went through mentalism, bizarre mentalism, and I settled into this wonderful world of oracles, from which I can no longer leave. |
