Could someone enlighten me on what exactly the effect is and which of the chronicles I might find it in?
Thanks Michael |

"Five Coins and A Glass" can be found on pg 191 of vol 1 of The Vernon Chronicles.
John Carney has a nice version of this in his "Book of Secrets" and also on his new dvds you might want to check out. Best of luck to you Joe

The effect, btw, is the production, evanishment, and reproduction of 5 coins.

On the "Vernon Revelations" video (DVD) Volume 3&4 you will find a lecture about the "Coins and champagne glass" trick given by the Professor.

No, it is not.

The original "Kangaroo Coins" is a 4 coins across routine through the table to a glass. The Coins and Glass routine is different. In the first sequence 5 coins appear one by one in bare hands. In the next sequence the coins travel similar the Kangaroo Coins to a campaign glass. Than the 5 coins vanish one by one into nothing. Finally the coins reappear in a coin stare on the fingertips. You will find sources of Coins and Glass in: "Vernon Revelations Volume 3&4" video/DVD, which I prefer. "The Vernon Chronicles, Volume 1 - The Lost Inner Secrets" by Stephen Minch. "The Video of Secrets Volume Two - Lesson for progressive Conjuring" DVD by John Carney, which is also excellent. |
