Razor Card to Wallet is brand new, so not much review coverage.
I'm interested to hear from owners of the FPS Wallet who have looked at the Razor Card to Wallet promo video and features list. In your opinion, how do they compare? |

I'm familiar with both.
In my opinion, I believe they're two of the best examples of a minimal card to wallet you can get. The FPS is the best example of a minimal card to wallet where the card ends up in the id window. The Razor Card to Wallet is my favorite way to produce a card from the zippered pocket. I prefer the zippered pocket. The zipper appears to provide an extra layer of security, and you get a nice moment of tension while the spectator removes the card themselves. It really comes down to the effect that you want to produce. Do you want to produce a signed card in the ID window of your wallet? Or in the zipper pocket of your wallet? Both are very strong effects. |

Thank you Josh. Can the razor (or the FPS) hold folded bills? The video seems to indicate that it's best for license, credit cards, things like that.

The FPS wallet comes with a billfold attached. I fold my bills over once and place them in the zipper pocket of The Razor Card to Wallet. There is also a large pocket that can be used to hold bills.

Hello GJo,
I have owned and used Brent Braun's FPS Wallet since it was released. The FPS palmed load is very smooth. Brent said he wanted the FPS to do one thing really well, and it does. Your question reminded me of a video Penguin did that looked at the FPS Wallet. https://www.youtube.com/live/ZaHgbh4HXXc......U&t=5873 If you watch this video for a bit, Brent actually joins the call and talks about the wallet, so it should give you very good insight for the FPS. Brent and Josh are both awesome humans and really provide honest info for their products. So what Josh has written above about the Razor CTW makes sense, and that once you see what each does, preference kicks in for what you are looking for specifically. Thanks! --Jacob Hanley |

Yeah, Brent and I are friends. We each designed a wallet that fits our own preferences. I think Brent did a great job with the FPS Wallet.

I have the FPS and use it as my daily (circa 2+ years now).
The only possible very slight negative for me is that loading benefits from using an improvised slide (e.g. an ID card) compared to my previous wallet. On the plus side, excellent and durable quality, slim dimensions and its the best looking 'magic' wallet I've ever owned - which is important if it is your daily carry. I don't use the money clip as UK notes (up to £20) slide in halfway into the righthand pocket, keeping them secure without interfering with CTW loading or revelation. I am interested in the Razor, but would appreciate a good close up look around it and overview of loading. I understand the concern about revealing secrets, but with a wallet I think being able to see what you're buying is a real plus. |

I appreciate all the input.
I have used a Tumi Razor-style wallet as my front pocket EDC for 15+ years. It has six card slots and a billfold center slot. As time went on, I found myself adding more cards until I now carry twelve cards. Two per slot. Could I remove a few? Probably, yes. But, I need to carry at least six (including my ID). This made the Razer Card to Wallet very attractive. After careful consideration, I decided the Razer Card to Wallet doesn’t provide enough slots to allow me to use it as an EDC wallet. Combined with the inability to handle the product with a return possibility (completely understand why this is so), lack of reviews, and lack of holiday discount to lessen the risk, I decided to buy an FPS Wallet and an Orphic+. Both were on sale. One will be kept. The other sold. |

Here’s a little clip at a wedding using the FPS wallet. I actually use it in my inside jacket pocket rather than in a trouser pocket - the load is quick and I load the card so the back is showing which I think adds to the signed reveal - GREAT WALLET. Used to use the EZ Wallet before
