Yesterday, I had one of my hardest and also on of my most fun times performing. I went with my Dad to a small place where meals are surved to the homeless as well as a short sermon is given for those who care to hear it. My Dad had said a lot about my magic in the past, so I was asked to perform. I have to say I was shaking like a leaf. Everything went very well though and I performed on and off for close to a hour. I had many challengers and hecklers to deal with but I was able to cover my tracks quite well and left most of them overwhelmed with what they had seen. I stayed to help surve food and I was blessed by seeing many smiles that I had provided. This was nothing like I have ever done before and was also one of the hardest things I have ever done. I have to say though my few hours of time was well spent spreading joy.
Has anyone else ever preformed or helped with something like this? If so I would love to hear about it. My shock for the day was that a short paper about my times at a child cancer center was used as a base for the sermon. Anyone who wants to read it just PM me and I will be glad to send it to you.
