Hello Vincent.
My magic experience also started with Tannen's, but it was 8 years ago and I found heaven on the second story in NY.
Welcome to the Cafe.

Thank you Pavlo for the welcome.
I've followed Tannen's through their various
moves over the last 40 years.
Still get that great feeling when I walk through those doors.
Thanks again,

Vincent

Vincent,
You are a New Yorker.
If your in town on any Saturday, stop down at Maui Taco at 330 5th Ave, (a block south of the Empire State Building).
The magicians meet there from 2 to 5(or 6)o'clock. They allow us to use the downstairs dining area to hang out.
Even Margarette (she wrote above) joined us last year when she visited NY.

Yo Vinny, it's Joey!

<yelling to the kitchen> Mya! Put some water on the stove for the macaroni !

Vinny, it's great to welcome you here to the Magic Cafe. You are going to quickly find yourself at home and participating in some really interesting conversations.

Be sure to check out the Cafe rules and Etiquette posted on the main page, and read the FAQ when you get a minute. These will help you get the most out of your visits with us.

And try the escarole and beans! To die for!!

Oh Vinny D.!

I miss all the great food at the feast! Miser's Dream with Zeppole? For me it would be the Vanishing Zeppole! With lots of powdered sugar on them for me. And the home-made sausage cooked out there! Oh the best!

Vinny D, here in California we don't get that sort of thing like in Brooklyn. So now I have to make zeppole myself on the stove. Makes for a great dinner in itself! Have you tried it with sausage or anchovies inside?

Now I'm really hungry. I better get to the Kitchen quick!

Ciao
