For quite sometime I have been on the fence on this one. However, after watching the review video by
Magicorthodoxy , I finally took the plunge.

In magic, 'Surya Kumar' is a known name as a young working professional as well as a creator of magic props. His well received and acclaimed creations have been Surya's Device (Thread Reel), Gambit, and the Climax Wallet. And now his latest release - The Hide and Seek Wallet.

The Hide and Seek Wallet is made from quality pure leather. The wallet is very well made and is a sleek looking PEEK Wallet. The wallet does what its supposed to do and does it well. I have used this wallet in a live performance and the wallet worked flawless - Easy and effortless.

I would like to mention about the construction of the wallet. The wallet is designed in such a way that the spectator/magi slides the Business Card/Billet at the Back of the wallet and the peek is done at the front of the wallet. In between the Front & Back, in the middle, there's a completely normal zippered pocket. Thus, it makes one think and wonder as to how one could get the peek at the front end with another zippered pocket placed in between. This kind of clever and unique construction (and stitching of the wallet) has baffled me and will surely baffle many of you.

I would highly recommend this very will made and aesthetically good looking wallet. For just $45, one can't go that wrong.

I passed over this thinking the middle zipper pocket just wasn’t useable. If it really is “completely normal”, that’s an intriguing design.

Yes, the zippered compartment is completely normal, and that makes one wonder as to how the creator managed to design such a wallet. I would rather say 'kudos' to the person who managed to stitch and put together the wallet by completely isolating the middle-zippered pocket. Check it out and see it for yourself. Seems a lot of clever thinking has gone into designing such a wallet.

While I am not a fan of peek wallets that require returning to the wallet to obtain the peek, I did liked the idea in the video, where using a prediction as an excuse to gather the info.

Agreed. The original demo video left me less than enthusiastic, but I too like like the idea of using the prediction to get the info. It works.
