I just took a look at Hernan's website, but unless I missed it, I didn't see anything about his coin box.
If Hernan's box is anything like I think it is, I don't think it would be hard to modify a Boston Box and make it into a German-style box. SETH

Nice to see this guy using a box like this. To me it shows progress from the more regularly used Okito boxes. Of course those routines with that are still very nice, but this sorta shows you what’s off the beaten path. Sorta like watching the basic Matrix and then watching something like this…

Thanks very much for the tip! I've seen this type of box demoed on YouTube, so I figured somebody must be making it.
I also saw the version that's available on Hernan's own website; his box is made of bronze rather than brass -- interesting! At $80 it's a bit pricey but probably worth it, since it includes videos of his sleights and handling. But unfortunately the shipping (from Spain?) would be another $90, which makes it a nonstarter, at least for me. SETH

BTW, it's a funny thing . . . I've owned Bobo's book for more than 30 years and have read or re-read it several times. But somehow the section on the Al N' Nate box never crossed my mind. Thanks again for the info. SETH
