I purchased some steel dollar coins...Yeah, yeah I know...why did io buy junk BUT it actually came with 5 steel (they look GREAT once shined up a little) and a shell ( I don't think average audiences will notice any difference
My question is this...I saw someplace thatI can apply something to thr coins to prevent them from rusting or tarnishing....kind of like a wax or something....I don't know...Any ideas?? I was going to briefly mention that most people wouldn't care or notice what I use as long as they are being entertained....Just like we don't care if our car Mechanic is using Snapon tools or Stanley tools just as long as their car gets fixed...Am I way off base or spot on?? I've heard (as cheap as sponge balls are) some magicians make their own...right now I can't afford real Silver dollars or Snap-on tools. |

I've been having good luck with Renaissance Wax. You only need a VERY tiny bit, then work it into the coins. It puts a protective layer on the coin that prohibits further tarnishing for a while. I simply reapply every so often in case it wears off.

Renaissance Wax seems like a good suggestion.
Why not a set of genuine silver dollars? https://tangomagic.com/producto/perfect-......r-d0202/ Or a Morgan dollar reproduction set that almost everyone agrees is outstanding? https://www.bluethermagic.com/products/coin-set-2.0 |

NEVER DULL is another option. I have been using this item for years with success. Leaves light residue of oil.
