I have a manuscript somewhere that gives instructions for a one man Floating Light Bulb where the modus operandi is attached to a hoop. Unfortunately, I seem to have misplaced it. I recently purchased the Miracle Floating Light Effect by Burling Hull from Lybrary, thinking I would find it there, but did not. Would anyone know where I could find the routine I'm looking for? Much Thanks, Dave

I seem to recall that there was a version in print of what you discussed.. and was attributed to David Bamberg! Now, we know that this was NOT how he and OKITO did their version, but perhaps it was his way of deflecting interest in the REAL OKITO handling! In any case, I think it appeared in the SPHINX.

The more I think about it, the more I’m convinced that the routine I seek was found in an older version of The Miracle Floating Light Effect and simply is not included in the newer version. Hope I’m able to find my older copy.

Unfortunately it is too complicated to illustrate here." I wonder if Proskauer published it in The Sphinx at some point ? - |

The versions of the trick I've seen all have the bulb "base up," which to me is a clear indication that it's hanging from something. I'd love to see one where the bulb is base down.
That's our departed buddy Burt, aka The Great Burtini, doing his famous Cups and Mice routine

I have found the routine that I was seeking. It is Grant’s Close-Up Floating Light Bulb. Thanks to all who have responded.
