Many years ago I got a rope in a children's magic set. It is the best rope I own.
Perfect for ring through rope. It is quite thick. Slightly flat. Very soft. And about 6 feet long. Does anyone know where I can find another like it? It has proven to be very durable, but it is starting to show damage. ![]() |

I feel your pain, Fedora,
It sounds easy to google Magicians Rope, but some don't say how thick or what material. It was better when we had a shop and could see the rope or just order from the same company in the same gauge and material as last time. While we ultimately have to work in the world ordering sight-unseen with no track record it is a pain. I've had to relearn through several iterations of rope in my career (and cards). Best wishes in your quest |

Thanks for the links Sponge. The thing that has been tripping me up is it's unusually thick size, braid, and color.
They used to sell these in 6 foot pieces, but it seems that seller isn't around anymore as far as I can tell. Thanks again Sponge. Edit, yeah Mary, I actually bought that rope from a shop in Vegas. It was included with other props but they also sold it separately. |

The vanishing inc link looks identical in braid and thickness. You want the no core.
Scroll down for yellow. or dye the white with rit whatever color you want. |

Here is the rope that I use (as well as a lot of other magicians)
It comes with or without a core and several different thicknesses. https://www.baroniantrading.com/shop Mark
