Hey, just wondering which coin slights you guys and gals like to practice whilst relaxing such as watching something on TV, sat reading a Kindle, travelling on a train etc??
I’ll usually do some coin rolls, Tenkai pinch and De Manche changes if I’m sat in front of the TV, I find it really helps to build my muscle memory without really thinking about the move. |

Welcome to the Cafe.
Along with what you’re doing already, it’s always good to repeatedly run through the palms, classic, finger, thumb, etc. They are all important ingredients in good coin magic. Again, welcome and good journey to you. ![]()

Thanks for the response MB, funnily enough I was browsing your web page earlier today!
I go through a drill which Rick Holcombe teaches but I find I have to be standing and fully concentrated for that - classic, finger, nowhere, second finger curl, JW, edge grip, downs, thumb, balance, back thumb and into recovery. |

Hello and welcome to the cafe..
Just like MB I run through the basic palms and transfers while watching tv, Classic/finger/thumb palm aswell as a coin roll. I'll practice a muscle pass while stood waiting for my coffee to brew
Cheers Nev

Thank you Nev, after your comment about the MP I’ve added that to my drill sessions for the last couple of evenings. This is a move I’ve generally avoided, probably because I believed it would be far too advanced for me but surprisingly I’m already shooting it (and catching it) horizontally about half a foot! Looking forward to putting more work into this.

One I often play with is what Bobo calls the Edge Palm. I learnt it from Hugard's "Modern Magic Manual"; he calls it the Oblique Palm. Henry Hay also refers to it as the Downs Palm and expects me to be able to palm and retrieve several coins one at a time; I've never managed that.
