My name is Jim, I am 50 yrs old, Have been playing and performing magic for prob, 30 yrs.

Like all types of magic from stage platform, closeup etc, Don't do many illusions however I do have a 6ft Mak Magic guillotine I got several yrs ago that I use on occasion.

I just joined SAM last year. This looks like a fun and informative forum. Will be visiting hopefully several times.

WOW! You guys make me sound so oooold!

You know what they say things get better with age. I have quite a collection of magic when magic catalogs were 25 cents and the highest priced item was maybe $15. Also have a personalized letter from Ray Walsh inventor of Walsh appearing cane. I wrote him back in the 1960s when I first got the appearing cane and asked him suggestions on how to perform it. Still have letter and original envelope and stamp, letter signed by Ray Walsh. Cool huh, I will share more magic memories with you later in the meantime
