I've been rediscovering some of Geoff Latta's work, and am interested in Cop Sil Brass. I have a beautiful Lassen expanded [ set, and an equally beautiful copper/silver gaff that matches and fits the [. However, Latta's rountine also requires the matching copper coin to fit the [, which mine does not. Is it possible have this shaved to fit? I presume I'd have to send off my Lassen [ and copper coin to have this done. I'm a bit nervous, lol. Any recommendations?

As Nev mentioned, I don't think Latta's routine uses a shell, just a very common gaff.
