Just saw the trailer for this. It looks pretty amazing. Anyone know how to order it? I don’t see it for sale anywhere yet. Murphy’s has it listed, but I didn’t see a way to order it. Nice work Craig and Lloyd, I can’t wait! ????

First look (9 months ago lol) at the Savant Deck- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yK1c7Gt-iwM
How many magicians does it take to change a lightbulb? Regardless, for magicians darkness is a time for d'lite.

Just saw this in an email from Murphy's today. After their last release I'll be giving this one a miss. They seem to be releasing magic now every month or two and it's obvious it's not worked out in the real world. They have friends on here and social media posting to push items, then if you give a bad review Craig goes in to a hissy fit. If they want to release magic then work on something for a few years, iron out the bugs THEN release it. Won't be buying anything anymore with CP name on it after his last few flops.

I will agree on your statement....It is all about the money and not the quality.

I ordered it and arriving today. Somehow my magic shop here in Canada was able to get it early. I will post my review once I play with it for a bit.

You are absolutely correct. Craig Petty is a total loser. He has released so much magic this year. His products may have broken sales records and have five star reviews all over the Internet but you are correct, his products are complete flops. Look at the Atomic Deck, even though there is a Facebook group with hundreds of people raving about it and top pros are performing at all of the time and it set sales records for how fast it sold out it’s a total flop as well. After all, how can a few faceless accounts on the Internet be wrong?

His latest trick at Penguin Magic credit wipers sold out twice. Why do people keep buying Craig Petty’s tat. Last week Credit Swipe was performed at The Magic Castle. Obviously The Magic Castle no longer has any ethics or morals anymore.

I say we ban Craig Petty from the Magic community. His ego is running wild and he does more harm than good

You can certainly rest your case about Craig not taking kindly to your allegations.

However, please cite your evidence that Craig doesn't work out the bugs on things. He claims that nothing gets released that hasn't been worked in for at least a year. What is your basis for challenging that? He clearly has a backlog of things to release, but the frequency of releases is not prima facie evidence that it hasn't been worked in. And what is your basis for calling his last few releases flops? There will always be people (especially on the cafe) who dislike his stuff, but his last few releases have not been flops by any objective measure.

I don't know Craig and I pass on most of his releases, but I take issue with these kinds of attacks no matter the target.

Looks awesome! Is there a difference in the gimmick from the previous deck by Owen Packard? Or is it mainly about tricks and routines you can do with it?

Is there a write up on this anywhere? Curious about it, and I’m not really in a position to watch a trailer at the moment.

Looks clever... I'm sure it's a great method and well thought out, but for me it's no more than a magician fooler. Doesn't seem magical. I can definitely see spectators getting bored of it half way through. If I'm in a situation seated with cards and requires spec's full attention, I'll perform OOTW.... doesn't take any longer (if shorter) and 100x stronger imho. Could see it suiting those performing memory demonstrations but it's a pass for me.

That’s actually a really great comment. Here’s the thing I have been using these rooting in a real world situation for two years. You are 100% right there are some ways of performing this deck that are by the definition Magic for magicians. However, don’t judge this based on the full performance on the trailer.. you will soon be seeing multiple live performances from me demonstrating several things that you can do with this that are very quick and very snappy. The UV reveal for example is absolutely incredible. And there are routines you can do that really make you look like a card expert.

I guess the deck allows you to perform in whatever style you want to. If you want to take a slower approach and focus on rainman style presentations. Then you absolutely 100% can. However, that is not the only option. You will soon see a 20 minute performance from Me performing very quick and snappy tricks to the same group and blowing their mind.

Hope that helps

I usually wait for the hype to pass, and for problems to be brought to light for discussion…but this looks amazing and I just ordered.
