Different than Intuition from a methodology standpoint - and I really like the three phase structure Liam has created!!

I'm guessing that if you don't want to use the wallets, you could have the cards as part of a deck, the first 14 on the top, and the other 28 on the face of the deck, thus hiding the kicker ending until the final moment of reveal.

I like this!

Really enjoyed watching the demo and smiled at seeing the creative thoughts applied to the underlying principle .

Showed the demo to my wife and her feed back was while she did not understand the how , she assumed some maths principle because the cards came out of wallets and not mixed .

So personally for me , I would try to make it a little more organic .

Have one deck you could spread across the table and show all backs same colour .

Having given the deck a few cuts , push off 14 cards and allow the spectator to mix using swixxx xxxitch into a pile . Show the spectator most people would seperate the cards into 2 piles alternating cards . Now good to go for phase 1 but write the prediction there and then on the fly .

Phase 2 . Cut deck a few more times , push off 14 cards and the magician mixes with Charlxxx Shuffle cuts and splits pile in middle spreading 7 cards into 2 face up rows . Write prediction

Phase 3 .

Cut the deck a a few more times , turn face up and deal 7 red , 7 black as fall . Instead of red and black backs . Will use UV light pen with all cards having R or B on back when exposed to the UV pen .

It’s a really cute fun effect Liam has put together

This is how I would perform it.

Magicinsight-can you let us know the differences between this and Intuition and which you prefer and if one is easier to master than the other for beginners. Thanks!

I ordered it but did not receive the effect or instructions yet so really cannot compare the two methods. With this you need to use 3 wallets with the preset up cards so more pocket space. Although some have pointed out you can have the cards preset in a deck. With Intuition the deck does not need to be in any prearranged order. In fact you can use a borrowed deck and the spectator can shuffle the deck. Intuition is very easy to do. While I do not have the instructions yet for this effect, I assume it is similarly easy to do. I do like the 3 phase progression ilof this effect though. The Intuition download is inexpensive enough to get both to see which one you prefer. The way it is presented, Intuition is done impromptu and not as a test but to show if the spectator has good intuition.

I have just watched the demo and, for the third phase, it occured to me that in addition to showing the playing cards face up you 'inadvertently' flash the writing on the test 3 test card.

'Oh, you weren't meant to see that,' you say. 'But let's carry on ... you can decide how many of each pile to use.'

And you proceed with the kicker at the end.

Although I do not have this effect yet, I like how the phases build.

This is classic Liam thinking. It is really the same effect 3 times in a row yet as presented it really does seem like each phase builds and is more impossible.

To the point of removing the cards from the deck, I actually performed this for my wife and that’s exactly how I did it.

I did the Charlier shuffle then separated the cards into two piles for the first phase. For the second phase if you have the cards in stack, you can charlier shuffle and then drop the packet onto the table and let them cut and complete the cut. This will work for straight cuts. I add it to the second phase because it just seems to build with the fairness.

She was blown away, by the way. It’s a great trick. She’s very analytical and had no clue about the workings.

I actually like the use of the wallets and making it look like 3 separate test conditions. It looks great, particularly for a hobbyist doing stuff for family and friends.

I'll wait until it becomes a download. $40 is a lot for this kit of no gaffs and plastic wallets...add shipping...No thank you. He even used hand written cards in the demo, so why do we need printed?

I would actually be open to idea of purchasing the method from someone who has it. I don’t need the card wallets or printed predictions

I've been doing this trick for around 2-3 years so I'm very familiar with the method. Can happily explain it to you for the right price. The right price is £100.00 which Liam and I will then spend on beer. Let me know.

I suppose that statement came off the wrong way, I was looking at it like any other aftermarket item being sold on the Cafe.

Will this be available via US sellers in the future?

Start with Liam Montier. He won’t know what the market wants until the market tells him.

That's true.. a download option would be nice.

As others have said, the $41 price point is a little steep and I know it's because of the props included.

I mean “props” are minimal, a few wallets, a few blank cards. The price is for the actual effect and yes, it can easily be made up with a pack of regular cards., wallets or envelopes. Unfortunately, postage is nuts these days and add international and we see this price to mail to the states.
