There is a routine called Thrice Predictable in Liam Montier’s 2023 Advent Calendar release… just basing this on the name, but does anyone know if this is the same effect released here? I

Yeah,it's sold out everywhere I found it.

Any update on when it will be available again?

Presumably as a result of a post on this thread, I received a PM on here from someone asking whether I’d send him the password for the instructions download, in exchange for one from him for another trick. I politely declined.

I do think it rather sad that there isn’t greater respect for creators, and greater understanding of the value and importance of IP and creative ideas.

His name is Recoplon. I have received several pms from him asking for passwords, etc. I have sent a PM to Steve to get him banned!

This looks great!!! Would the reset be able to be done quickly enough that it could be performed again for the next group of people in a table hopping environment?

Thanks in advance.

Stevie C, I am not a professional, just a hobbyist but I believe this could be reset very quickly in order to table hop.

With it being sold out, the cost of shipping, and perhaps tariffs now, I wonder if maybe a download option may come soon? Just a thought.

I've just checked, it doesn't show a "sold out" sticker for me and it allows me to add to cart. Maybe refresh the page and try again?

I would also like to buy it as a download.
40€ including shipping plus customs duties currently seem too high to me.

Now if “The Gamble” by Steve Cook also came back in stock, that would be lovely. I just learned about that effect as I was looking into Predictor, which I have and highly recommended to anyone on the fence about it!

I do agree with Wravyn, that selling a download only option would be beneficial.

I would have purchased it when it first came out, had it been a download. I can’t justify spending that amount when I have everything to make it up at home. Why pay for props (no gimmick) that you already own??
Check out my downloads on Penguin by searching my name on their website.

Hi all,

Predictor is back in stock. USA shipping is mental - but I’ve seen some comments about customs charges. All the tariffs are paid my end (part of the reason USA is so expensive to ship to).

Also, the postage doesn’t change much for several items, so if there are a couple of tricks you want, getting them together can be very cost effective.

There is also a promotion on a trick called ‘What A Turn Up’ where you can get it for free with some orders - check the website for details - which can also help subsidise postage. Kaymar is only a small business but I really do everything I can to help with the crazy post. There is also a lecture bundle on the site which has free international shipping, so lots more options than you might think.

Cheers, and many, many thanks to everyone who has already purchased Predictor.

This is now available via Alakazam, which may assist with customs fees if they're stocking it in the US.

Liam has used this principle before in an effect called Galaxian -
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Upcd1ji7HAA

Personally I prefer Galaxian because it is not entirely self-working. There is one simple sleight performed in an off-beat moment. This makes it impossible to reverse-engineer (unless you factor in the sleight of course). The problem with methods that are completely self-working is that it IS possible to reverse-engineer them purely on the information that the spectators see.

Nevertheless, I think Predictor is a nice use of the principle. I really like the idea suggested above of doing it from a deck rather than from a wallet (or three).
