A year or two ago I bought a routine that was simple but effective, and downloaded the video but now can't find it and don't remember the name. Does this sound familiar to anyone? The demonstration was outside, it's good walking-around magic. You borrow something like a coin or ring from someone, place it in your hand, ask them to hold that wrist (demonstrating with the other hand where you want them to grasp), spread your hands and say "Did you feel that?" and open the opposite hand to show that the item has moved over there. I remember enough of the method to do it but want tips on making it better, and if I know the name I might be able to find the video on my computer or backup. Anyone?

If Primary Movement isn’t it, it should be as to this trick. Ben Earl’s work and thinking is just exceptional on it.
I also had a take on this I put out many years ago called, “The Great Esacape.” It was part of my Impossible Two Piece download. Handling is a bit different but the same basic “teleport” concept. ![]()

I learned the "Flop" as a basic sleight back in 1957 and have used it ever since in many routines.
Several of my Sway Toss Sleights can add variety to the hand positions and timing.

Hey, I’ve been playing with this again since happening upon this string, and got a chance to do it just this morning for some people during my workout.
While I really like some elements of Primary Movement, I more like to combine it with what I originally came up with in my old take on it, The Great Escape. In fact, I streamline it a bit and drop the whole arm holding part and just have the specs concentrate on the actual teleportation, of which I do love the way Ben Earl opens and closes his hands to add a bit of drama to the action. Works well and is a bit more instantly amazing, and actually it looks quite impossible. A nice trick to do with just one coin, and another goody to pull from the usual 4 half dollars I regularly carry, that allow me to do several different things upon magical command. Always nice to remember great stuff like this. ![]()
