Hi Everyone.
I was wondering what people think about Palms Of Steel 2-Fists Of Fury.
Any reviews would be appreciated.
Best,

Check out the Coinvanish website. Dan has a nice review there. All in all, one of my favorite dvd's.

The Coercive Purse and The Goblet routines are real workers and brilliant constuctions. Kainoa's coins from nostril routine has many clever moments... I found it to be inspirational.

For my money however, the first POS has the best mix of material and utility moves and gives you a good sense of Curtis as a performer, which is his real strength.

I await the day when Curtis does a video on presentation and creativity. His coin work is very very good but his presentational touches are what make me smile.

Here's one example: He explains why the coins go across by saying they're almost 100 years old and they've been passed from hand to hand so many times that it's now part of their nature. What a charming, surreal concept!

This has to be one of my most favorite coin DVD's that I have! Mr. Kam does an EXCELLENT job with showing and EXPLAINING how to do the tricks.

The routines themselves are GREAT! Some SERIOUS coin work going on, but nothing so hard that you would never be able to do it. Just PRACTICE, PRACTICE, PRACTICE!

All and all I would HIGHLY recomend this DVD for any SERIOUS coin worker! Smile

All of Curtis' DVD's are great. Silverado is my personal favorite, but 1 and 2 are packed with thoughtful magic as well.

Best,

Mike

Great versitile stuff on here. I've had it for a year now and I still watch it at least once a month.

I just want to know where he gets his dollar sized chinese coins.

This DVD didn't really do it for me. The goblet is very good and something I think most will appreciate. The rest of the DVD seemed to me more like magic for magicians, rather than laymen.
Tiananmen Square was one that sounded very interesting to me from the description, but I thought the routine was a bit weakened due to how many times he went to his pocket and seemed very long and drawn out.
Don't get me wrong, there is good magic on the DVD and you'll probably pick up a few things. But for me, the Goblet was the only one that interested me.
That's my opinion for what its worth.

I got the DVD a few days ago, and let me tell you, this is HARDCORE material.
Get the DVD, and do so now.
