Speakers’ announced for the New York Magic Conference 8 “Houdini In New York” -Magican and Award Winning Podcaster Scott Wells to fly in to join the esteemed list of participants at the New York Magic Conference 8, “Houdini In New York!”

The list of participants include: Tom Ewing, Richard Cohn, Annemarie van Roessel, Devlin, Cardone, Roger Dryer, Dorothy Dietrich, Joe Patire, Todd Harris, Tom Klem, Dick Brooks, Mike Henkel, Holden Summers, Robert Dadras and Scott Wells.

This once in a lifetime, never to be repeated experience is the first of what will become a year-long celebration, around the world, on the centenary of the great magician’s passing.

The Magic Conference is on Saturday, November 1, 2025 in Douglaston, Queens in New York City, and is only $65.00 for the conference registration (Registration includes a $40.00 Magic goody bag).

Saturday is shaping up to be an amazing day, with never to be repeated lectures, talks, panel discussions, performances and an afternoon reception with the New England Magic Collectors Association (NEMCA).
It will start at 10am and will run to 6pm with the focus on the Houdini Family coming to the USA, Houdini’s time in NYC, as an adolescent, a young magician, a dedicated son, a writer, publisher, showman and as the great escape artist and master magician.

If that’s not enough, a tour of several magicians’ final resting places will occur on Sunday, in the Borough of Queens. There is a $30.00 donation requested for this event. All proceeds from this tour will benefit the Houdini Gravesite Restoration Fund, a 501c3 charitable organization.

As mentioned, there will also be a special event in the afternoon of a New England Magic Collectors’ Magician’s Social; which will include a very special Magic Show.
