Hello everyone

I've been looking here and there for an alternative to forcing calculator apps on the phone to perform Cryptext, just because the phone in itself is - in my opinion - suspicious in itself.

I have considered cards, but I am a card guy, and well, I think that for Cryptext its nice to dissociate the initial phase from anything associated with manipulation.

I am really tempted to finding ways to use a old-school calculator (also, its easy to carry). But I am uncertain on which resources out there that I should look into. Is there any one here that perform Cryptext, or similar tricks that rely on forcing larger numbers, that employ a regular/regular-looking calculator? If not, would you have any other suggestions for how to force larger numbers that don't rely on apps/phone and is somewhat easy to carry?

Check out Nestor Dee’s New Numbers for Old it combines two principles to bring about a clean number force
just using some blank index cards and a sharpie. Low tech and would do what you need:
