Yeah, Dan was a pretty good & studious coin guy (always sorta reminded me of Rick Holcombe somewhat), and had great involvement with the NY Coins Guys long time back now. His old website had a lot of very helpful bits to it and he had a few good offerings as to his work. I suspect his interest in the art waned a bit and he just went into other things. He used to be around here quite a bit early on but stepped off long ago. I guess it happens to a lot of us along the way, it did to me a time or two but some just move on. I can remember long ago he had a trick where one coin joined another coin from one hand to the other. Man, it was just so cleverly done. Wherever he is now, I’m still always wishing him the best, like another old pal and fine coin man that also left the scene long ago, Tim Feher. All these guys were really good and put a tremendous effort out there.

That site was a tremendous resource. Hope it doesn't entirely vanish. No pun intended.
