It should come as no surprise, I am a big Chris Rawlins fan. His latest releases have been home run after home run because of his knack for finding the perfect context for props and principles we all know and love like alphabet or number cards. This latest release is no exception.

Chris returns to a principle he has poked, prodded, and expanded more than probably anyone else and this time he has once again found the perfect context that makes this exceptional. He teased this very selectively at Magic Live and when I saw it I started counting the days until it would get released. This will be THE impression device everyone will be adding to their EDC!

Chris showed this to me over a FaceTime one day, and I genuinely think it’s the best thing he’s ever created. And that’s really saying something. I’ve been anxiously awaiting its release since that time.

IMO, it’s the most organic impression device ever made. When it comes out, I will be buying and keeping a pad in my desk, my car, and my laptop bag so that I can use it whenever I want. I’m not a fan of most impression devices. I usually prefer a billet peek, but this is so perfect that I know it will become my go to method.

It’s coming out at Blackpool, but it seems like he is going to be doing another insider edition in January. I’ll be the first on the list.

It’s a been a long time since I’ve been this excited about a new tool.

Chris quietly took me aside during Magic Live this past August and absolutely blew me away with Noted. I was immediately impressed by its elegance, simplicity, and naturalness. Those who have followed Chris’ work know that he’s long had a passion for the principle at play in Noted. That principle has always felt like it held so much potential, but it never struck the right chord for me. That all changed when I saw this. It solves all of the issues that I had with prior applications. Moments after Chris showed me the pad I asked if I could purchase a box of them. (Chris then told me I’d have to wait haha.) This is a tool that I want to have for a long time to come.

While I admire the ingenuity of all the latest electronic imp pads on the market, I’ve never purchased one (for a variety of reasons). Noted is what I’ve been looking for this whole time. It was genuinely the best thing I saw at Magic Live and I can’t wait to begin using it.

Yes, I consider Chris a friend, but my friends know that I call it as I see it. This thing is awesome.

Best wishes,

Drew

Does it only come in those tiny pads?

Do you have to use a Sharpie?

How many times in a row can you perform it before you have to reset?

How's the reset?

The pad resets itself, you can do it until you run out of paper. You do have to use the provided marker. No idea about the size.

The only thing I’d clarify about the above is that it’s a normal, ungimmicked marker.

I might be thinking of another effect, but wasn’t this released a good while back?

Is there any chance this will be made in regular size post its. It seems like it should work with the method, and would allow for larger writing

Yes, that is the $64,000 question.
The couple of clues Chris gives in his video makes me think of a Paul Harris release from several years ago, which I have always loved in theory but have not had a lot of success with in the real world. Hopefully Chris’s version has worked it all out to be 100% surefire.

Looks identical . Perhaps both guys found the same product and repackaging it as a magic item?

Thanks everyone for the interest in Noted.

I have genuinely had an amazing amount of messages and emails. I am trying to work through them as I can, though this is a very busy time.

To be clear, Noted will release in January 2026.

Ive been working on the concept and working with the prop since 2024. It has gone through various stages of development and lots of testing.

With Noted we have cracked what I believe is the perfect solution to the impression pad.

They write with the normal (but provided) marker.

They do not need to turn the pad face down or hold it between their hands (this is a big deal!) yet almost instantly you steal a copy of the information.

There is nothing for them to see but when you want to see it, you can instantly.

The pad resets itself.

People that know my work know that I really perform it and it and leave no stone unturned during the development or teaching. Details matter.

Which is why Noted is made from the same paper as real sticky note pads(except every third sheet) and (this is a big one) with the exact same glue.

So after they write, when they peel the sticky note off, it looks, acts and feels like a real sticky note. In fact what they keep IS exactly what it appears to be.

Nothing gives them the feeling of something being off. Not before, during or after you use Noted.

The Mac - that's funny! I can assure you that Noted is custom made from the ground up. I actually had a delivery of Noted two months ago but when they arrived, they were not perfect. So I remade them all.

This has seen a long development process and I have shared it with many people, all of which have loved it and then asked: when can I get this!

I cannot speak to Dual Pad but when I was made aware of it, I reached out to Victor. Initially he did not respond to my emails, live chats and couple of calls. (A French friend had his number).

When he did reply on Tuesday evening he didn't seem enthusiastic about a conversation. I replied offering to talk yesterday (Wed) on the phone, having already explained that I have Noted coming. Since then, Ive not heard back from Victor. I wish him all the best.

It would have been nice to speak about everything but from what I know, they may share some similarities with the object and context but Noted has significant differences that make a big difference.

I cannot wait to share Noted. The routines gifted to me from everyone involved are superb. The details I teach regarding logic, context and nuance to using this type of device are extremely valuable. I have learned all the details so I can pass them onto you.

And for those that pick up Noted Plus and Pro, you will love the extra custom made something.

Upon release in a few of weeks, all the information will be here:
https://c-r-products.yolasite.com/Store.......03363620

My site will be the only place Ill have this availble at that time.

Thanks for the amazing responce to what I think will become the gold standard in impression pads.

P.S there is an Easter egg at the end of the tutorial for those that pick this up in Jan!

Happy Holidays everyone!

Hi Chris, congratulations on Noted. Sounds like a great product. Can you give any indication on the pricing structure for the three buying options?

I think the only thing for me is THE SPECIAL MARKER,I have had a few thigs in the past and been disappointed, said marker drying out, evaporated inks etc and expense of paying back out because of the type of gimmicked pen, I REALLY DO LIKE this so hopefully will not be the case?.

My concern is them accidentally taking off 2 sheets instead of the one they are supposed to. Sounds like it wouldn’t happen but it does. Currently I use Lumen Trilogy and so many times during performance, people tear off 2 sheets from a writing pad/post it notes. Not that this is a potential issue with what I’m using, I’m just giving a tip to people who buy this to maybe bend the 1st page in slightly, so it gives them a grip guide to only tear off their page easily and not the 2nd note accidentally (which will expose the 3rd).

Hi Everyone,

Trying to be responsive but this is literally one of the busiest times of the year.

Mr Verbzy - All will be revealed upon release but all three options are all great deals.

Fire Starter - One huge expense with Noted is the pen choice. You get a premium marker pen, made by a respected brand that doesn't dry up and gives reliable flow of the required ink. You wont be disappointed.

Roberto - Ive got you covered, the Noted tutorial is really thorough and details all the nuances and details that Ive learned over many years Ive been performing.

Ill be here when I can. Noted will be worth your attention and the short wait.

Thanks everybody!

Hi Chris, looks great. Just one question, how many performances do you get per pad?
