So I’m quite familiar with a gimmick of this sort as I’ve been selling my black hole pre-show kit for nearly 5 years and it is used by many pros, including myself.

https://svenpads.com/products/black-hole......show-kit

I’m looking forward to seeing this release. My black hole kit Using a similar method was released with the blessing of Marc Salem.

Using it with a little sticky note pad seems clever & organic - however if the writing is done from the top, then the image itself will be typically a reverse of what is written in terms of a word. I will be curious to see how Chris has solved that – so this may be better for a dd. With my black hole kit you get a positive image in terms of a word that is legible.

I will also say that it’s very important to understand the environmental factors which I go into in great depth within the black hole kit. This type of method is brutally dependent on understanding the exact environment that you are working in, which is explained in great detail within my PDF along with the instructional video.

This is why many people were disappointed with the Paul Harris release that used a similar method and a very strange non-organic gimmick. in the Paul Harris version the environmental factors were never even mentioned.

Overall, I’m excited to see what this is and look forward to see if this pushes the envelope forward with this method.

Different method.

No, no no.

The releases that go back with this are steam by Ali Noira (2006/2007) and a later meh version that was released by Paul Harris around 2016/2017 and was distributed through Murphy’s. The concept of this was created by mentalist Marc Salem and called the brother of all duplications (BOAD).

Does it only come in those tiny pads?

Do you have to use a Sharpie?

How many times in a row can you perform it before you have to reset?

How's the reset?

Yes you will need refills.
You will use some sheets for every performance

Is there any chance this will be released in a regular Post-it sized pad?

I assume the reason that this (and “Dual Pad”) is smaller than a standard post-it note pad, is because the cost would be significantly higher to produce, otherwise, I can’t imagine two different creators would come out with a similar product in a similar time frame but have the products a fraction of the size.

You're probably right CrimeAnalyst. It's a shame that cost wins out over usefulness, but I suppose if nobody could afford it then it probably wouldn't exist in any form. That said, I'd have been happy to pay a premium for a product with a larger and more versatile writing/peek area.

Hi All,

Thanks again for the interest in Noted.

I can assure you, the release happening in Jan offers plenty of space for drawings or multiple names, words or numbers.

When I shared this with Colin Cloud and David Gerard in Vegas, they both tested it at my stand with multiple words, worked perfectly.

Some seem to be judging the practicality of Noted before even getting their hands on it.

I've been working with it for a long time in both realtime and for P** S***, you'll be very happy with it.

The authenticity of the pads is perfect, nothing is strange or a miss. The quality of the provided pen and special pads is exceptional and the teaching is world class.

We have made the chemical balance perfect so that magic happens fast without the need to put the pad face down. We made them with the same glue as sticky notes too.

I can't wait for you to get your hands on it.

I have a lot planned with Noted and as we move through 2026 all will be revealed...

The first stage of that is to share Noted Essential, Plus and Pro in Jan.

Moving forward I'll share updates regarding Noted,

I have every confidence that Noted will become the go to imp pad of the industry.

Wishing you all a Happy Christmas !

Chris just provided an advantage of Noted over DualPad, the fact that you don’t have to turn Noted over/down on the table. While you can come up with a justification for turning Dual Pad over, I personally don’t like doing so.

Another potentially over looked thing, are the ideas provided by Chris and others for Noted. Multiple minds sharing thoughts on the same product is a win for Noted buyers. I don’t like having to use social media for magic products, but would be willing to try and create a Facebook group for Noted with Chris’ permission (when it is released)

Of course, we don't have Noted in our hands Chris. But unless I'm mistaken it is the size of a mini post-it pad? So what you can legibly write on it is the same as whatever you can legibly write on a mini post-it pad? That has to be less than a full size post-it pad, because a full size post-it is....double the size?

I'm sure it's a great product, hence my interest in either this or Dual Pad. Just not as great as it would have been at full size (imo. Based on my experience of post-it pads of different sizes and not first-hand experience of either product obviously)

I like the look of it, but these devices live and die by the availability of refills (or re-purchase).

I'm always a little wary of being dependent on that.

That, doubled with the fact (I believe) that you have to use a marker and not a pen so it's thicker writing, thus less space to write on the tiny pad.

I am really hyped. This could be the perfect imp pad for social magic! I like the size (even though I understand that a larger pad could be better for a professional environment) as it's totally inconspicuous to carry it in my notebook bag.
Could you already say something about the prices? Are they also amateur-friendly? ;-)

I agree. Also the papers will need to stay perfectly aligned like a real post it pad. I do not know if this will become a problem when papers are replaced after each performance.

This is my hesitation as well. Main reason I never bought a parapad, don't like having to rely on refills. If the gimmick can easily be removed and placed into another device, that would be awesome. But considering that at this point we all know what this is and what's at play, I don't think that's possible.

A neat idea, but not for me due to refills.

The size is no issue, and is perfect for the type of work I do. I just would hate to get used to a tool and then not be able to get refills down the line.

I suspect that one could use a certain fine point marker and be fine.

To my understanding you use it just like a normal post-it block and when it is empty you need a new one. But you don't replace single sheets.

Based on the teaser it seems like 3 sheets will be used up every performance. If that is the case, how many performances do you get out of one pad? The pads in the real world are either 50 or 100 standard. Also, as you get closer to the end of the pad I would imagine the stability of writing on it becomes less and less.

I am looking forward to picking this up, but would like to know how many performances you get out of a pad.
