Looking forward to reviews and feedback from those receiving their Noted kits.
I received mine a few days ago and I will post feedback after Blackpool.

An excellent piece of kit. Three pads have already been used during gigs and practice sessions. A standard Sharpie works just as well as the supplied pen, which is a welcome bonus rather than a drawback. Fantastic work from Chris, as always.

Hey Guys,

Brett - happy you’re all set. You did email me on Monday saying it had arrived, hope you’re enjoying it! Shoot me an email if I didn’t get the pro notes to you.(Think I did!) or if I can help at all.

I’m positive that 99% of all the orders have been delivered by now, as I’ve had soooo many people get in touch saying that they love Noted.

Pro users - working to be able to share something extra in the near future with you all.

And all Noted owners - check out The Jerx review and extra routine in his latest ‘Keepers’ newsletter!

Ray - that's amazing. I’ve not had experience with Sharpies being reliable - so if it were me, I’d stick to the provided type of marker.

The new batch of Noted is in production and should be with me in March. And yes, that's including the ‘easter egg’.

Here to help anyone with anything when I can.

Thank you all for the amazing support to and positive response to Noted.

Really the same result for you? I tried it with standard sharpies and similar pen and while it "kind of" worked, the imp of Chris' pen was way better in my test.

Perhaps I have a particularly good batch of Sharpies, as they never worked for me with earlier versions. I own ten of Chris’s pens, and I know he has tested them extensively, so it may simply be that this batch of Sharpies performs especially well, the markings are perfectly clear. This is a brilliant update from Chris and is highly recommended.

When will it be back in stock? A notification newsletter would be great.

Hi Christopher, may I know if you'll restock your "Clarity" release with Masuda or will be available at BP?

Thanks

A standard sharpie WILL NOT WORK. “A particularly good batch of Sharpies” is borderline ridiculous.
The chemistry of a sharpie isn’t right and won’t work. A sharpie will bleed. That’s not the same as what happens with Noted.
Guaranteed.
Fact.

I must have bad batches of sharpies because none of my sharpies work even the slightest. But awesome that you found some that do!

Been working with mine since I received it, have nothing to add to everything that has already been said. This works just as described and I’m very happy to have this tool in my arsenal.

I opted for the Plus package, so I’m curious if anyone who ordered the Pro package has any thoughts on the additional Notes that were sent to Pro users. Basically just wondering if I made a mistake not opting for that package. Thanks!

Probably Madison, because I have at least one hundred of a very good batch.
Maybe US Sharpies are different?

If you have a hundred Sharpies that work well with this then you might consider starting a small business.

I’m sure Chris must have tested UK Sharpies. I don’t know where yours are from.
But it seems odd that a “good batch” would have a different enough chemical make up that it would allow yours to work well with Noted.
Be interesting to know if anyone else has a good batch. Hope they’ll let us know if they do.

Very time consuming to try out a hundred sharpies, not to say wasteful of the special paper.

I currently own two Pro sets, which gives me 16 pads and a total of 640 performances. So far, I have used just over three pads, so I am very pleased to still have around twelve and a half pads remaining, roughly 500 performances left, and to be first in line for refills. In my experience, the product works beautifully with either pen, and I was genuinely surprised, in a positive way, that all of my Sharpies perform so consistently well.
That said, I will generally be using going forward the pen supplied, as I trust Chris’s thorough long term testing. I have found that removing the paper within about two seconds prevents any bleed and consistently produces an impression that is easy enough for me to read with that pen.
Great product.

I use the pen Chris recommends and put it in a Sherpa Ultimate Collection cover (do Google search).

Knowing the system behind (Steam…. Ali Nouira, Paul Harris…) and without knowing what Chris recommends I can state that the permanent markers by BiC always work… Smile Jan
