I would love to see the video. One of the best, if not the best close-up/sleight of hand magicians of our time. More importantly, Greg is probably one of the top entertainers of the art in our time.

What specifically is meant by “guaranteed?”

Wow. I HATE the marketing for this trick. It might be great, but this seems like the type of scam advertising you’d see for a time share or male enhancement pill.

I have seen many products that have been hyped up only to let down customers, so I am practicing - put your money where your mouth is - as a creator, so I am not calling anything *the holy grail*, *ultimate*, *the best* etc unless I am actually willing to back up this claim.

This is to give you peace of mind that if you like this plot then this product is the best in terms of the possibilities it gives to perform this plot - keeping in mind the impossibility of the effect/routine and the practicality of the methods.

I have not marketed a product before. I am releasing a product like this completely on my own for the first time, so I am open for feedback.

I have not seen time share or male enhancement pill ads so I do not get the reference. Can you please specifically bring out what do you hate and why? I would love to learn and improve.

Can the coin by signed (was it your effect “Breakthrough”?)?

Thank you for your interest! No gimmicks are shipped because this is something you can easily make several yourself and inexpensively. As you probably know there have been incidents where companies charge customers for shipping something they could have easily done or acquired themselves for less than the shipping price. So I think customers would have been ****ed if I would have shipped it.

My previous release is part of the system, but some things do not work with a coin, TBS is meant to be used with a tab. Versions with a coin are considered bonus ideas, but yes, I teach it how to perform it with a signed coin (both sides signed by a spec).

But in general I do not recommend using a coin or signing it, because why would you bring EXTRA things - a coin and a sharpie into your performance if you do not have to - you are just making things unnecessarily more complicated! What has a coin to do with a can? Nothing! But using a tab FROM the can makes perfect sense. The whole point of TBS is to make the plot feel more organic, so keep it simple!

To be honest I have to agree that the marketing is a little off-putting. Johannes, there are a lot of design elements here that make the site seem strange or suspicious.

• The trick has it's own site that's not part of any larger site for yourself or a production company. Obviously there's nothing inherently wrong with this (I've done it before too), but it's pretty uncommon in this industry so it looks unusual.
  
• The page layout is a bit odd; the fonts/spacing are huge so you keep having to scroll up and down to find information, and the order of the various sections feels somewhat random. If you don't watch the trailer it's quite difficult to even figure out what the effect is.
  
• There's a lot of vague, clickbait-style language ("Most IMPOSSIBLE Magic Trick", "ONE OF THE MOST IMPOSSIBLE MAGIC ROUTINES EVER CREATED", "Could have been 4 separate releases", etc.).
  
• One of the first quotes is just attributed to "customer".
  
• The whole concept of doing a pre-order for a download is a bit confusing. Is the video not ready yet? Why wouldn't you just wait and sell it once it's ready?
  
• The "adding up the value" section is somewhat reminiscent of online "guru" courses and other similar scams. It's not clear how "EXCLUSIVE MEMBERS' HUB FOR TBS OWNERS" is different than a Facebook group, or the discussion forum that Penguin provides for every product. To me it doesn't make sense to say that this aspect is worth €75 separate from the product itself.
  
• You say that "some products in this plot cost $135" but then you say the price for this product (once it's actually released) is planned at €125, which at current rates is equal to about $147. So there's an implication there that you don't actually plan to sell it at €125, or else you wouldn't be suggesting that yours is cheaper than the others on the market. Plus that's expensive for a download once the one-on-one teaching is no longer available, right?
  
• The "guarantee" seems very carefully-worded. You say you can get a refund if you find "another product in the plot that gives you the same possibilities", but you've already stated many times you feel this is the best product on the market so it's hard to believe you'd ever agree to refund anyone. Meanwhile other magic dealers have much more straightforward and flexible refund policies.
  
• The links to Legal, Privacy Policy, and Disclaimer at the bottom aren't actually clickable links.
  

Of course none of this says anything about the quality of the product itself; it's obvious this is something you've spent a lot of time on and you've got some great quotes from big names, so I look forward to seeing reviews once it's released. But I do think you aren't putting your best foot forward with this site design unfortunately.

So this really isn’t a pre-release. It’s apparently a pre-shoot.

It also seems designed to vacuum up as much money for a download - most likely to combat the inevitable pirates stealing a typical download.
How can you hype an intellectual product as hard as you possibly can - and make as much money as you can before the pirates start swarming the waters?

I wouldn’t be surprised if the website itself was designed by AI. There’s nothing wrong with any of this, but without a doubt, it is a design to vacuum up as much money as you possibly can (no pun intended). The ideas in the teaching may be absolutely extraordinary, but 60 days is an extraordinary time to wait for a download.

In the interim, expect the creator to be hyping the heck out of this thing. I’m a little envious to have a product that you don’t have to mail to anyone with almost zero manufacturing cost other than marketing.

This will be my final post on this thread. It feels like there was more thought put into the marketing of this than almost any other aspect.

As explained - offering a pre-order option has mutually beneficial factors - it helps me as a creator to manage all the costs to fund the production and delivery of the project and it gives a chance for my early supporters to get the product cheaper.
