Congratulations, Johannes! I really can't understand how people can be so toxic in this thread. Suddenly they know how to teach, what sales strategy you should use, the timeline you should follow for teaching... the trick that you created and have been practicing for 20 years.
I think it's great that Johannes released his trick this way. People complain about not getting everything on day one and having to wait the HUGE amount of four days (just one more left now) to have everything unlocked, when if they spent that time practicing instead, they could be mastering their performance, since this is some of the best magic I have seen in my entire life. I think Johannes is following this strategy just to help us not overwhelming us with such many new information, all those new methods and that, only with the gimmicked and the dup versions you have 11 different methods to try and put on practise. It's crazy how you can constantly weave one method into another, blowing your spectators' minds, and just when they think they know how you're doing it, you hit them with a different method and BOOM. I love seeing the passion and enthusiasm you put into it, which is totally normal after working for so long to achieve something. Thank you for sharing your work with the community. I'm so happy of being learning this, I love organic magic, and you will have a situation almost everyday when you see someone with a can and you know you can blow their minds just with that, and it's something that it will be useful for you the rest of your life, so I can't really understand the complains and the toxicity, just grab a can, take a sit and enjoy practising and linking all the methods Johannes teach. |

I am about 55 percent of the way through the currently posted tutorials and have a few observations and comments. First, I have zero doubt that Johannes is a totally legit and upstanding guy, and this is not a money grab whatsoever, and he is genuinely extremely excited about his project. The bite size videos are nice, but many of them are unnecessary as they really provide very little if any information but I do not really mind watching them just because I have the time so it does not bother me. I am in no rush but understand that others are. As a casual hobbyist what concerns me so far is that after watching a little over half of what has been posted I honestly am not sure how the effect is accomplished. Of course I understand the general concepts, but he has still not yet taught, this is how you begin and this is what you do next, and so on. For those who own this, they will understand what I am talking about and I hope that comes at some point from start to finish, because again I am still a little bit confused as to the step by step process to perform this effect . I hope there are three videos which provide instruction from start to finish of here is how you do the gimmicked version and here is how you do the impromptu version and here is how you do the duplicate version, each from set up to completion. So far there are a lot of small pieces with nothing put together and I am honestly confused right now, but I am certainly willing to give it the benefit of the doubt and hope to finish the videos soon because it does seem like a very cool trick. I am mostly interested in performing it just sitting around when there is a can around and just doing tab through can once without a series so anyone here who owns it who can help out a casual hobbyist and tell me which one of the many many effects provided you think would be the easiest for that scenario, a one off easiest version of tab through can, I would be most appreciative and can focus my efforts there. Thanks.

Perhaps you start out with the gimmick, then move to an ungimmicked version, then move to a duplicate version. Each phase cancels out the previous phase. I do hope Johannes provides some example routines, but there is no fixed routine or "right" way to do it. You are meant to mix and match phases to create your own routine, often on the fly as the situation presents itself. |

There is no beginning to end, there is no trick. It's a system with various methods; you put them together however you prefer to build your own routine. I agree, it would be nice to see various videos of routining options, but that would probably be a ton of work for Johannes because imagine the amount of options when he has this many methods. But maybe he has certain structured routines he uses most often.

You are correct that I was thinking about it incorrectly and not focusing on it as a system. However, I do think it would be easy and quite advisable for there to be a couple of examples, out of the many possibilities, for each method, from start to finish. Do 2 examples with the gimmick, 2 with the duplicate and 2 impromptu and then explain that you can create your own version but these are 2 samples from start to finish. In my view it would be very helpful to many of us, especially those of us who are not working pros and would love to do this all the time as a one off of hey look I can push a tab through a can.

The first module in the tutorial teaches the SETUP - this knowledge is applied to the versions you will learn in the following modules. It does not make sense to teach the setup 15 times every time with every version. If you followed the tutorial in the order it was provided and learned the first module called SETUP, there should be know confusion for you. If you rushed through and didn't take that part in then obviously the rest can be confusing if you don't know how to start the effect. Please go back to the first module and learnt he setup. Watch the setup versions #2 and #3! The rest of the tutorial makes sense. The masterclass is modular for you to be able to easily go back to learn specifically the part you need, but if you skip the basics, then it's hard to put the picture together. That said, I will go over everything, including showing full routines performed live, in the end as well when we talk about performing this as a routine, but first I have to teach you the basics. So please just follow the order of the tutorial - first study SETUP and then THE PENETRATION part. Hope that helps!

VANISHING INC just called The Breakthrough System "One of the greatest close-up illusions ever created!"
I want to thank everyone in the community who has supported me. The support has been overwhelmingly positive and now when people are finally seeing what I've created and when I'm reading all the reviews and message you have sent me I feel deep gratitude! Thank you, guys! Johannes

Here's one thing that I can say (while I digest and practice it).
Johannes is the real deal. There was some skepticism because of the tone of the marketing and bad past experiences with other shady creators. But he: * Did in fact raise the price when it was released * Did release the effect as scheduled * Has continued to release new parts every couple of days |

It got quiet for the reason everyone knows. To much hype and a high prices always attracts the dark side.
