Keep reading to hear my tale of woe from Penguin "customer service" and also you may be able to help a fella out:

I purchased, and absolutely love, ARCADE COIN by Penguin. Come on, it's a quarter sized Scotch and Soda with fairly common (quarter) and intriguing (arcade token) objects....well made and reasonably priced, and for me, that's a no-brainer...It uses a bang ring. I can't find mine.

I also just purchased GAME CHANGER from them. Love it.
(I feel all the comments here about the shell not being "perfect" are silly. This is not Schoolcraft or Lassen...it's a WORKER, and more than sufficient. It's only $40. Carry everything loose in your pocket for a few days and all will be well.)

Couple them TOGETHER? Absolute magic, pun intended. Using the CS insert from ARCADE with GAME CHANGER opens up a ton of routines. Switch shells to finish with a "bang" (pun also intended.)

HOWEVER.... mine is now locked, and I didn't want to try the ol "shake it in a glass" method till I asked about procurring an actual quarter size bang ring.

I emailed penguins customer service. I waited several days for a reply.
The reply was: "we don't sell bang rings."

Interesting, but ok.

My reply email was simply asking if they knew where I could purchase one.

THEIR reply? "You just need to purchase another ARCADE COIN SET ($40)

I'm probably not going to do that just to score a couple dollar nylon bang ring.

After a few searches from the well-known dealers and I have been unsuccessful in my search.

Any ideas, guys?

Hi Bryn, I added to the "Workshop" section here at the MC, some things I have used to get a stuck shell or coin loose.
also included are directions on making custom bang rings from PVC pipe. Hope it helps. The easier solutions are listed first.
