With the new content added so far, the AN4QVU Masterclass is now over 2 hours long! But there's a lot more to add still. Not sure how long it will take to get the updated version released as I have several other projects I'm working on, but hopefully not too long

I added a lot of content over the weekend, and when I went to export the file the software kept locking up. After trouble-shooting and applying various fixes, I ended up reducing the video to an hour and a half and was able to export the file. So I'm going to keep the AN4QVU Masterclass 2026 to 90 minutes. It's a lot of content with several additions to the original Masterclass. I may do an annual update and add more in 2027. We'll see.
Earlier in the thread I said I was going to post a link downstairs in Inner Thoughts. Someone contacted me and pointed out there's a problem with that. A link to the video, even if it's unlisted, can still be shared by anyone, anywhere in the world. Doing so provides zero control over who has access to the video, and it can be re-shared and posted anywhere on the internet, which not only invites piracy but also exposure. So I'm not going to do that. Instead I'm going to make the video private, streaming only. If you would like to request the updated AN4QVU Masterclass video, send me a PM with your full name, first and last, and your gmail address. I'm going the route of the private video to put some controls in place to reduce piracy and exposure. In order to request the video, you have to send a PM, which means you need to a registered member here on the Cafe. That, plus making the video private, in theory will keep the video within this community, which is my intent. I'm willing to provide this new 90 minute video at no charge to members of this community. But there are a few conditions. Here's what you have to be willing to do in return: 1. Be honest, kind and respectful. I put a lot of time and effort into creating the AN4QVU Masterclass. Millard Longman put a lot of time and effort into creating Acidus Novus. You're being offered something of value for free. So be kind and respectful and don't make illegal copies and share them with your friends. Doing so is wrong and illegal. I'm asking you to give your word you won't do that. 2. The video is copyrighted and is offered as a streaming only private video. You must agree not use screen capture software to make a copy of the video or use any technology to download the private video. I know these technologies exist. I'm asking you to give your word you won't make a copy of the video or download it. 3. You agree not to share the contents of the video with others by any means, including summarizing the content. When the original 8 min AN4QVU video was released, someone took it upon themselves to make a copy of the card shown in the video and send it others. I know this because one of those people contacted me and told me. 4. Once you receive and watch the video, you agree to come back to this thread share your honest thoughts. If you loved it, great. Please write a few sentences telling others what you loved about it. If you didn't care for, come back and say that too. That's it. When it comes to the theft and illegal sharing of files, I feel you. I have discussed this with a lot of creators over the years, and the problem, I'm afraid, is only getting worse. It doesn't only affect digital publications but also physically published books. A decade ago, it would take the thieves two to three weeks to upload a 300-page book to torrent sites, but these days a book of that size is usually scanned and uploaded within days of the first copies being delivered. Of course, digital is just much easier. The issue is that these sites exist because they are supported by those who buy or download free copies from them. Unfortunately, in our case, that means magicians and mentalists. I have, on several occasions, been contacted by magicians asking questions about some of the routines in my print-on-demand published books, who tell me they are on page whatever of the pdf. Funny how the conversation ends abruptly when I tell them the book was never released as a digital copy, and they are therefore reading an illegal download. How you stop your work from being stolen, I don't know. It is almost as if we are living in an ever increasing cuture of entitlement, rather than obligation. It seems that many feel they are entitled to get something for nothing, whereas those who appreciate the time and effort that goes into producing these things feel obligated to do the right thing and support the creator. I'm glad but also disappointed that you've felt compelled to make the video private, but I also understand the frustration that often turns to anger and despair when you see your work simply shared by those who don't assign any value to the years of experience and months of work involved. Unfortunately, Magicians and Mentalists are the culprits, the creators are the victims, but in the long-term, it is the art that suffers. Rant over cheers |

I've known about it for years, when Millard shared it in the Ring 2100 newsgroup (remember those?), but I don't think I've ever used it. I may well give it a go now.

Bill very kindly sent the masterclass to me. This opens with the original video which includes everything you need to know. This idea extends Millard’s Acidus Novus (AN) peek to allow you to get lots of information in a brilliant intuitive way.
Then Bill goes through a slew of ideas and thoughts on using the AN4QVU principle with contributions from numerous people. Thank you to Dr Bill Cushman, Mr X and Barry Cooper for their contributions. Bill takes you through using different billet sizes, justifications for getting the peek, and several routine ideas. The routines include takes on classic mentalism such as Name and Place, 4DT and Q&A. Bill’s idea for Q&A is ingenious and such a brilliant idea for doing a Q&A routine for a small group. Including an idea for using the billet for another mentalism prop we are all familiar with. Finally Bill dives into an overview of how to take on readings using a particular oracle. His take on this oracle and how he uses it to give readings and his scripting around what he says to the sitters. This last bit is gold and together with the original idea and everyone’s contributions makes this project a real addition to the AN peek and a way to elevate the information you can gather. As Bill says you can use the AN4QVU to replace similar routines that use billets and envelopes and distill it down to just one billet. Thank you Bill and contributors for this and I will definitely be adding this to my work with the AN peek. |

Why didn't I think of that? I found myself asking that question several times while watching this masterclass.
I wasn't really sure what to expect going in but I had in mind some new sleight or method of access. What I found was far better. A simple yet very potent concept that retains the beauty of Millards original Acidus while expanding the amount of information available to you. Part of the core idea here I have played with before and learned from Jose Prager years ago as a drawing duplication. After watching this masterclass I realized I quit thinking too soon and Bill has taken his own ideas and turned Acidus Novus into a Swiss army knife. I love it, and am already thinking up many ways to use this. I do believe this has solved for me the restriction issue with this type of peek. I know for many it is a non issue but it never quite set well for me. Now where before I saw restriction I see freedom. The video itself is well done and everything is demonstrated and explained very clearly. You get several additional ideas from some well known names, routine ideas, and even a mini discussion on readings with a nice combo of numerology and a pendulum. It's clear Bill put a lot of work and thought into this masterclass and has shown incredible generosity offering this as a gift to the community. Excellent work sir this really is fantastic thinking. I'm one of the lucky few who received the link to this video. It is a long watch packed with strong ideas and I will need to go through it again to take in everything that is taught. In essence it is a method that lets you extract far more information than most of us are used to with AN. Stunninger also goes deep into ways to justify the peek and shows how to create all the time you need to execute it without raising suspicion. With the amount of data you can pull from a single billet, you will be glad that the structure gives you space to do the peek calmly. I have reached the age where reading glasses are part of reading minds. I always need to remind myself to put them on during the billet preparation. It feels odd to take the billet back and then put my glasses on for the peek. If you are in the same situation, the masterclass contains an unintentionally perfect justification for this as well. On top of that you get an introduction to numerology, some thoughtful pendulum work and probably more layers that I missed during my rushed first viewing where I had to skip parts due to lack of time.
