I'm pleased to let you know my new project is now available from my good friends at Big Blind Media, "A Taste of The Disclaimer by Tom Dobrowolski". A video bundle that includes some of my favorite items we published in "The Disclaimer" and a favourite coin trick (I can actually perform!) from my friend the late Curtis Kam. * All magic that's fun for both you AND your audience that you will do!

Order now and you get to choose a FREE bonus download!

All the information of what is included AND a full performance of one of the routines available at this link: https://bigblindmedia.com/products/a-tas......rowolski

Many, many thanks to the talented Owen Packard the lovely Rachel Packard and sweet Theony who always make me look so good and are amazing hosts! Also thanks to Liam Montier who helps to make sure my explanations make sense and are fun!

* The Curtis Kam routine ":Close Hangers" was NOT published in "The Disclaimer". It was in a set of his lecture notes. I do not know which ones. Fortunately you don't need palms of steel to perform this one.

Hi Tom, is the Oiater routine, that's in this Taste of Disclaimer bundle, the same video as the stand-alone routine sold separately?

Looks really good Tom. I've always liked your material. Picked this up since I didn't get any of the Disclaimer issues when they were on-going. Whack to the future looks like something I'd really like to do.

You can check out the review in the current Issue of Genii Magazine. Or read it here. Smile

"TOM DOBROWOLSKI IS the kind of unassuming card magician I enjoy watching. This bundle from Big Blind Media offers a sample of six of his contributions to the now defunct digital magazine The Disclaimer. (The seventh is a Curtis Kam coin routine.) The magic is practical close-up material, mostly requiring no setup or special props besides a regular pack or some coins.

Let’s start with my favorite piece, Where’s Waldo. This is such a clever routine, with a thematic premise and a playful tone that quietly sets up a killer visual at the conclusion. It’s a “Brunch and Dinner” trick—as suitable for a table with kids at a family restaurant as for adults having cocktails. It’s simply delightful.

Marlo fans will enjoy A Devilish Miracle- ish-ish, a straightforward but entertaining variant of the original. Tom’s handling made me want to push this routine back into my repertoire.

Genii readers are probably already familiar with Paul Harris’ Whack Your Pack. Tom’s version, Whack to the Future, is a revised handling of the plot with a new approach to the core mechanics.

While A Dicey Deal requires a significant setup, the outcome is a genuine surprise. I keep an eye out for card tricks involving dice and this is a keeper.
To be fair, I was not as taken with this Invisible Palm handling as I was with the other ideas. I also want to push back on the suggestion of letting the spectator do the last revelation. Maybe I’m wrong, but to me it seems like you’re just explaining the whole trick.

The coin routine is surprisingly accessible for a Curtis Kam routine, using a simple repeated sleight as its engine. I agree with Tom’s assessment of its strength and suggest it as a possible middle for a set.

If you enjoyed journals such as Apocalypse, Hierophant, Richard’s Almanac, etc., then this collection will scratch your tinkerer’s itch. They have the added benefit that they are not just theoretical explorations, but ready for real-world performance. I hope Mr. Dobrowolski gets more of the contributors together to produce a bigger project."
