Does anyone have a review or information about Out of Space by Magic Equation. The clips on the website are useless. I have no idea what you are paying 45 pounds plus shipping for or if it is worth it.

Thank you.

Does anyone have info on the linking rings?

Yes.
It's a popular prop in magic, and consists of solid (usually steel) rings penetrating one another in ways the magician assumes are both exciting and confounding for their audience.

The audience, meanwhile, is wondering if one of the rings might penetrate a sensitive part of the magician's body.

I hope this helped?

Leipzisch, thanks for the help.
I'm specifically referring to the routine at min. 17:05. There is something a bit unusual happening there.

The couple of impressive things I saw via vlogs was the guy with the apparent slow motion coin toss from hand to hand, I think it might be venom pro. The other was a deck slowly diminishing down to one card, I believe that’s called something like diminishing. Oh one final thing was the guy with the flash wand and the matrix routine, not sure what that one is called.

The last trick you are referring to should be FlashTrix 2.0 by Joon

If you really want to step aside from the lasted gimmick / one-shot trick and elevate your magic, track down Ben Earl’s video lecture notes. There’s card and coin stuff using his latest principle that will sincerely mess with people’s minds. They were handing out cards with a QR code to purchase them after the lecture. I still have my card so if you can’t find the notes send me a message and I’ll email you a picture of the card.

Oh, they were only $25!

Absolutely AGREE with this.

The hit of Blackpool for me.

Hey Noel, does the ring effect have a name? I can’t seem to find it on Craig’s channel.

It’s a ring vanish rather than an effect in itself and it’s called Ringo. Plenty of time for the hype on full release but I showed it to comedy magician Alan Hudson a few days ago and he said -

“It’s a very rare thing in magic where the vanish of an object flys by because it’s built into a laugh. If you can’t get a laugh with this you should take up propless mentalism”.

Swing by the stand at Blackpool to see it and our other brand new releases Bankable by Eric Stevens and Amazin’ Box by TTB.

Noel

Hi, Noel
Is bankable the one Roddy did with the 4 color envelopes? I really have to have it!

It sure is, it absolutely flew out. We have brought the release forward but it’ll still be a few months I’m afraid.

No idea but it just looked like a ninja ring-sized version of TCC’s magnetic locking linking rings to me. Nothing too unusual.

Just to be clear; you have no idea what it is, but you don't find it unusual.

Not what I said RiffRaff, I was responding to the post above.

I have no idea…if it is going to be released.
And I very much have an idea…that it is a magnetic locking key ring based on the way you can see him pushing it shut, finding the key again, and pulling it open again. Clever handling for sure for the unlink but no, I don’t find it particularly unusual.

Hope that response is clearer.

I saw a video of cards being dribbled in slow motion, and stopping mid-air - does anyone know what that trick is? Thanks!

The vanishing deck effect you mentioned is mine.

It's called DIMINISH.

Here’s the teaser if you’d like to see it in action (full trailer coming soon):
https://gingereffects.com/diminish

It completely sold out at Blackpool, and the second batch has just gone out worldwide. Next batch ships in a few days.
