Hi guys, I also like Adam’s releases.
But I live in the EU. Will they be available through dealers?
Only VI has a good service to the EU.
Thanks

How does this compare to Prodigy Peek by Franz?

Hi Wravyn. The methods are fundamentally different.

Steve, is it a different method compared to PaC Stack by Paul Carnazzo? I don’t know anything about Prodigy Peek, so I don’t know if that’s similar to PaC Stack or not, so apologies if those are similar.

You can find your answer here:

Hey @Artin

I actually credit both Alias Wallet and PaC Stack on the project. As Alex mentioned, in my presentations, I have the pile of other cards be a mix of drawings and spare cards. I ensure the top card has another drawing on already.

Cheers,
Adam

It should be clear in which direction Sentinel is going.

Adam calls his company Deceptive Secrets and the Sentinel is a genuinely deceptive secret. It deserves to remain one.

I support your request Neil and would not expose a concrete method here.

Roo does a great job in not displaying the secret in his review. He announces he will demonstrate how deceptive this is and then moves the packet completely out of frame. Which IMO actually makes the demonstration useless…

In one of the films made of the Blackpool convention, there is a full performance of Adam presenting and demonstrating Sentinel. It was watching this and seeing its effectiveness that made me decide to buy. I am pleased I did.

Ah ok! Coming from you I’m intrigued, Neil. Do you remember which video of the threethousand that magic bloggers/reviewers/attentionlovers produced?

But I also see a different Blackpool performance has been added to Deceptive Secrets' website now at the bottom of their product page.

I think it was one of the updates by The Daily Magician but the demo mentioned above is a very good demo.

In addition to what you are supplied with the tutorial is excellent. I need to rewatch this as Adam also describes another effective peek as well as suggesting ideas that can be built on.

This is a very solid release. Practical and effective.

If you own The Process DVD by Andrew Gerard (available as a download for $50 on Penguin Magic), you have enough to fool people without needing gimmicks and having to use double-blank bicycle card stock like with Sentinel.

In my personal opinion, it's overcomplicating things by adding a gimmick when you don't need one, and adding an element of risk (albeit small) - possibly missing your peek in low-lighting conditions or by trying to go too fast with the peek. If you get a more complex drawing (which can be controlled by asking them to keep it simple, but still - you just never know, and it's more interesting if you don't restrict them), you will have to stare for a while when you do the move, which normally wouldn't take that much focus.

Sentinel does what it needs to do, and it does it well, but it's not for me for the above reasons.

Hi all,

Just wanted to pop back on and say thank you for the kind words and discussion here - it’s genuinely appreciated.

Also appreciate people keeping the conversation respectful around methods. Thanks again to everyone who has picked one up and taken the time to post here.

Just watched the live stream. This is really cool! I love peek devices and thought I knew how Sentinel works. But it's much better than I imagined. Very clever thinking on many levels.

Missed last night’s live launch? No problem—you can catch the full replay right here https://www.youtube.com/live/FFF-YjaOPPs

During the show, Adam pulls back the curtain and gives a complete exposé of the gimmick, walking you through exactly how it works and why it’s so incredibly deceptive.

Regards

Peter
