I just bought this and love it! It is so easy and installation is a breeze. It is not even installation really. Just a website. For a casual hobbyist like me this is perfect. Highly recommend. Plus, Phil is super helpful if you have any questions and very responsive. This is the way magic should be.

The app is a webapp which is why it works cross-platform, but you can quite easily install it and use it as a regular app. "This is the way magic should be." Wow that's really awesome, I hope you have fun with it Samdan.

Switchblade was good on release, but quickly involved into something even better:

Thanks Petdetect! It's funny to see how much it has expanded and changed and as with a lot of my work it's really down to the community making suggestions (and pointing out bits I did wrong!) so thanks to everyone who has the app and has reached out with ideas and new approaches.

I've got a LOT of cool ideas for V4 but I think Rocsana will kill me if I don't take a lil break from obsessing about the new development for a week ????

Not a very exciting update but I pushed a few fixes today so the module reordering works better (properly) now. If you have Switchblade installed backup your lists and run an update.

What I really like is the hands-off nature of the presentation. Any effect where the magic happens “in the hands” of the spectator is strong, and this falls into this category. Of course, this is only one of the effects that you can perform with Switchblade.

Sometimes things come along that fall under the radar of many magicians - I truly hope that this isn’t one of them. Well done Phill for creating this.

I’m currently using an older iPhone and wondered if Switchblade runs smoothly on older devices. Also, are there any plans to bring this to Android for friends without an iPhone. Appreciate all your hard work.

Hi Bryce - this is my first app so I'm not sure if you've got my stuff mixed with with someone else. I'm always happy to take credit for anything though so I'm glad you liked them!

It should run ok on pretty much any iPhone because it's a PWA, you definitely don't need the latest model. In terms of Android, it already runs great on Android - it's how I developed it.

I’m not familiar with PWA, what is that exactly?

It's basically a way to make web apps install and run like native apps, it's what allows me to make it so it runs on everything.
