To me the spinning suggests more "trick" than falling off. The whole coin and cap thing is simply there to demonstrate or let people see (insert whatever medium you prefer). They're much more ancillary to the effect than part of it. And the sharpie can be in play before and after as a nonstarter that you just grab for convenience to demonstrate said weirdness (the 'thing' or wrapping of the trick).
I'd be fine with the lip balm and using it for the fall. But again, even then, the cap is superior because it serves a function before and after (using the sharpie anyway). And to answer you Jared, I've never had heat on it either. And the few times they curiously sought to figure out what just happened and mindlessly played with the sharpie cap, it's already back on the pen and switched in the easiest cleanup ever. I haven't tried Henry's routine he loves out in the wild yet, but I can't wait to do so. So good. |

Nathan,
Thank you for your logical and thorough response and opinion. I appreciate it. Michael

Thank you AutarchicFlux and Nathan for sharing your experiences with the examination aspect of the cap. I guess I will have to defer to your experiences rather than rely on my own gut instinct. But, on a different note, it seems like the product has been greatly improved compared to the original. I will say that I've had nothing but good success with all of Henry's products.

Saw Henry's trailer yesterday. The upgrades on Magnet-0 PRO look legit.
Also just noticed the 15% off deal covers the entire site, including all the Cube stuff. I wasn't planning on buying anything today, but that price is seriously tempting. |

I’m looking for possible other effects with this cap.
So maybe it’s a weird question, but could you also use it to transmit a vibration to your spectator? So the cap is hidden in your hand, and with your finger you touch the spectator’s finger. Would it be possible to pass on a vibration that way, or is it not strong enough for that? |

It's not an electrical shock, it's a mild vibration. It doesn't travel from person to person, really. You could use this as a transmitter with a secret assistant, though, and they could send coded messages to you with vibrations.

For those who are still on the fence. Henry's Magnet-0 Pro is outstanding. It has none of the problems that people encountered with his original version. His latest is a technical marvel... It works reliably, the battery life is amazing, and it's highly deceptive. Honestly, I like it so much that I purchased a second unit today. This should be in the conversation for trick of the year!

I bought this not quite sure how I'd like it. I completely agree with Jared. It's absolutely wonderful, takes up no pocket space and is a technical marvel. I'll be using this constantly.

Although the original Magnet-O works fine for my purposes, I was initially attracted to the new version because of the magnetic disc, used to cover the charging point in the Sharpie cap. However, I found that a small disc, cut from a piece of black card and simply wedged into the cap works just as well! So, no need for the 'Pro' version.

How long does it take to receive this? I ordered on the 15th and have not received any indication of the order being processed.

The longer I have this, the more I like it. Probably my favorite purchase in the last couple of years. And surprisingly, when I originally watched the demo, I didn't think much of it. But there are no negatives to Magnet-O. It takes up virtually no pocket space, is very reliable, great routining, perfect companion to a coin bending routine, reasonably priced, elegantly simple and requires virtually no practice. And very little charging required. I might even buy a second one.

Gabelosn, great idea following with a coin bend routine, this will flow nicely with the Ox Bender. I guess I'm going to order the Magnet-0 Pro.
