Hey guys,

I had the absolute pleasure of being the first one to own one of these bad boys.

I was on a retreat with Aaron Fisher, Chad Nelson, Hernan Maccagno, Gozner, and others, and after Hernan's lecture, a lot of people had left the table, and there were only like 10 of us standing there.

Hernan says "Do you all want to see something totally brand new, that I have never showed anyone, not even in practice, you all will be the first to see it?"

We obliged and said yes, as we did not know what he was going to show us.

He brings a lady on stage with him, and says, I am going to touch your shoulder like this, as he proceeds to touch her gently, and he says, everything I touch you I want you to say "Now," You ready?

We saw Hernan touch her physically on the shoulder a few times, then he backed away about 1-2m, and invisibly touch her, as she said "Now", this happened a total of 3 times.

We were all gobsmacked.

He then proceeded to tell us that it was a new idea of his, and that he was going to release it later, and that he didn't even know how much he was going to price it at, then he reveals, he has about 6 copies of the gimmick, I was the first one to throw money at him and purchase.

Fast forward to this years Blackpool 2026.

Hernan demonstrated this all weekend long to lots of people and believe he sold out.

IF you are interested in seeing a demo or curious to purchase, you can go here and take a look:

https://www.hernanmaccagno.com/ or

https://www.magiemos.com/en/shop

Effect is called Real Touch.

I believe when he did it in the Ruskin, Banachek saw it as well, and had something to say about it, you can see him in the video clapping at the end.

Anyway, any questions, let me know.

Thanks,
Alex

Is the tutorial provided in English or with at least English subtitles? Is this strictly meant for stage use? What I can gather from the web site is that it will be shipped in June. Is that correct?
Thank you.

Thanks for posting Alex! This caught my attention seeing it briefly on a few of the walk around vids, but there was never enough footage info to know anything really about it - so appreciate you posting. I currently perform Midas touch so naturally this intrigued me. I purchased Spectro touch a couple of years ago, but never ended up using it due to the limitations and issues it had that I think we all felt/experienced.

Whats interesting with this, is even from the angle filmed, it appears this could be performed with the spectator being in a 360 position. Meaning no matter where people are stood watching, there would be nothing to see (if that makes sense referring back to Specto gimmick). So I suppose if it’s ok to answer these questions, but I understand you may need to be a bit cryptic…
Is the gimmick in a way similar to spectro touch?
Can the spectator be viewed from all angles?

Thanks Alex

No way similar to spectro touch, this is not electronic.

All angles, no. But certainly most angles, you'd be hard pressed not to find a good angle easily in performing situation.

Thanks for the info - interesting. From the video performance on the website, it does appear that this could be viewed from all angles based on the way the audience were positioned. The person doing the recording positioned where they were, I’m assuming is at a bad angle, but you can’t see anything from that angle, then opposite side were the audience, very curious.
Even in the ad copy it mentions about a gimmick, but very interesting knowing it’s not electronic.

With me referencing spectro gimmick, I was referring more to and wondering if is it a gimmick you would have to attach and remove in someway.
Also if anyone has a video or a link showing this performed start to finish that would be great (rather than it starting with spectator already in position)
Thanks

Is this strictly a stage effect that needs to be set up beforehand?

Thanks Alex

On the website, it says you get 10 units in a package.

Does that mean the gimmicks are single use only (so only 10 performances in a pack)?

Hey guys,

Ok, I am here.

Currently there is no tutorial as this is a brand new product. To be honest, once you see the gimmick, it doesn't really need a tutorial. But if Hernan makes one, either a) it will be in Spanish with English subtitles, or b) it will be dubbed or c)it will be in English, I do not know.

In any case, if someone has this and needs help with it, I am more than happy to record a tutorial in English for everyone, shouldnt take me but 5 min or so.

He sold out at BP on the first day. More units are arriving to him in Buenos Aires Argentina in late May, since he needs to make them, and they will be shipped in June correct.

You can do this from almost any angle, even from the front.

Banachek had no idea, he thought Hernan was using something electronic, he wasnt.

There is nothing to attach to the spectator at all, or nothing to remove.

You can perform this close-up, parlour, stage.

Hernan was saying 10 units more for like wholesale, magic shops, etc. The unit is sturdy, and should last you a long time if you take care of it.

You will need to buy some refills of some kind, but they are readily available everywhere, Amazon, and more, and cost very cheap.

Thanks,
Alex Alejandro

What on earth?!?! Thanks Alex for all the info and my brain is on overdrive. From what you have said re the gimmick/unit, just makes everything so much more intriguing - especially the buying refills comment! I know this section entails speculation, but strangely what came into my head, is something shooting from your sleeve to make contact with the spectator - crazy theory I know. But appreciate the info and I’m sure this is as good as talked about for it to be so popular and a sell out on day 1, plus the experience in particular magicians praising and buying it.

I'm curious, is this like a PK touch routine where the spectator can feel the touch on certain parts of their body, or is it more of a generic feeling of being touched?

Guessing an "invisible" rubber band or firing system with tiny, undetectable type objects hitting his back...

Hey guys,

Yes I would say its a worker, I have had it for about a month now, and nobody suspects a thing.

Refills are easy to get, and you do not need Hernan for that.

The spectator feels the touch, and then you can even ask him/her, where did you feel the touch, and they will point to lets say their shoulder or whatever.

Its really genius and special. Worth it I would say.

I wish he would have had more when I bought mine, I would have bought a bunch, just to have them.

A “bunch?” At $ 80,- a piece? Are they that fragile/not durable?
