But it has been an ongoing problem for years of reviews that just aren't honest. Whether it be the UK propless mentalism crowd, all patting each other on the back and claiming to have the holy grail that of course never actually works or people attributing quotes or misrepresenting someones words or actions to essentially use their celebrity as an appeal to authority, it's a huge problem with the Cafe. Aside from the few honest reviewers, it really seems like the good majority are done in bad faith. Not to give an honest review, but to hype and sell a product. And when it is as opaque as this, straight up putting words in someones mouth they never said and not even contacting them to verify the quote is accurate, it calls into question every other review the poster has made, and every one moving forward. This wasn't a slip like "oops sorry my review stated you didn't have to do _____ but actually you do!" So yeah, stick with the folks who have proven themselves to be honest, but pay attention to those who engage in BS like this "review". |

I agree. It’s frustrating.

It looks like the OP has been edited as well, now it says Banachek saw it and "had something to say about it". Who said comedy mentalism couldn't be funny?

I have no idea what Alex's intentions were when posting that, but I'm not sure we should jump to malicious conclusions. |

It is not worth the money. People will start complaining after watching what you get . Just wait and see. The only good news: refills are easy to find near you. I won’t comment anything else to prevent exposure of the product . I can’t understand the positive review of BMWGuy, but that’s my review. Time will say.

[/quote] I knew what this was when I saw it. I verified and hoped it would be reliable. Waited for some reviews and will pass on this. Thanks for your input, I just wanted clarification on what you mentioned above. |

It is very sad to see so how many negative people post in here that when a new effect does not please them, meet their expectations or threats their knowledge or ego they bathmouth the effect trying to destroy, discredit it or disprove . Even professional perfomers have to post to defend their egos. Yea we know they know better but it is not necessary to tell us about it. Very sad that Mistakes or misinterpretation are not allowed at all.
What about some words of encouragement to people that has the courage to create ? How do you think the creator feels after seeing all your beautiful words of discontent and discouragement? How would you feel if it was you? It is not that magic is disappearing. It is all of us that are discouraging creators. Be nice to your fellows and you will gain more than buying a magic trick. |

The “fellows” you mention are sellers, asking serious money for a product. They ask BMWguy to help them hype it. When it turns out their product s**^s we hope people here at the Cafe WILL share that info to help others in not spending their hard earned money on a bad product. That is what friendship is on the Cafe, dude.
If you think friendship means staying silent or helping people pushing sh&€*y products then I guess you need to go somewhere else. BTW I have no opinion on this product yet. Only on your bizarre victim blaming statement.

One of my favorite parts of the Cafe is hearing what buyers have to say about a product as it allows me to make an informed decision about what I'm buying. To me, that is magicians helping magicians, and that includes creators who can view feedback and work to be better. If something doesn't work for me, I'm not going to post about how amazing it is. That doesn't allow for improvement...it's just dishonest.
