What look/feel do you want for your coin magic. Manipulation? Mystery? Comedy?

If you do a regular closed fist routine already, it’s no problem to make one coin travel as a fingertips effect.

If you already have a c/s/b coin set it’s no problem to make one or two coins of the three travel from your fingertips.

The tough part is picking a style of coin handling. Getting the last coin vanish to play as consistent rather than a challenge moment… Bob Kohler’s approach is sensible - and John Mendoza suggested using a Platt Blackout… so don’t worry about method Smile unless you’re more interested in mechanics than magical effect.
...to all the coins I've dropped here

What's a Platt Blackout? Never heard of this. Any connection to Johnny Platt?

Daryl had a relatively easy version of 3 Fly. It's a booklet.

Yes I have that. I like the way he rids the last coin.

...one additional suggestion...

Sean Goodman has a 3 Fly Routine utilizing two coins and a shell that's part of his Grayle routine. It's relatively simple. That's one you might look into.

Yes the 3 fly routine is part of the Grayle Project, which has lots of solid workable material - 3 fly, multiple coin productions/vanishes coins across and even okito box routines too. I'm a full-time working magician so my material is ideal for someone looking for strong magic, instant reset, pretty much angle proof and with great routining. Not self working, but certainly not sleight heavy. My routines aren't designed to impress magicians, but designed to entertain a lay audience. The video listed above was recorded at my residency with the normal interruptions from serving staff etc... Real world! Anyway you can get more info about the Grayle at my website https://www.sgmagic.co.uk

Mr. Townsend: Brilliant recommendation for using a Platt Blackout coin. Until now, I have had trouble using the Blackout coin
due to worries about light, and conditions.
For me, using this throughout a routine might be overkill, where unless you are using expert handling, the method might be suspected or detected. But your suggestion to use this for the last coin (via Mendoza) is utter brilliance.
Sometimes the greatest magic comes about from knowing just when and how much to use a brilliant method or gimmick!!!!
You would not have all the heat on the hand the coin vanishes in, because it reappears in the other hand. I will be using this, because again, the misdirection just after the vanish, of showing the coin passed to the other hand makes this very subtle and magical!
